Hey Girls,
I am 210 days away from my wedding and I have done my mock-up invite set. I am really proud of them. This DIY project was the most important to me. I believe the invites will set the tone for the wedding. I bought everything from paperandmore.com. They offer great customer service, package everything well, and are low cost. I chose the metallic pocket-folds and linen card stock for the invite.
Ok, so I did cheat a little bit. If you read my blog you will know that I go to Shanny Pooh Designs (mrshtobe) for everything. She is amazing to work with and is such a sweet bride/person.
Oh, but the map came from my venue and vistaprint did my address labels.
i'm having such a hard time though... how did you get the design on the invitation? i'm struggling with that part =(
please help me!!!!
Thank you so much justmeandhim :-)
mrshtobe did a great job!
If you are starting to think about invites and the design, I definitely recommend you to go to mrshtobe. It's nice when everything from the monograms to the RSVP matches ;-)
browncurls- I know...it's all starting to get real :-)
bankhead2be1111- I'm sure yours will look great. I can't wait to see them :-)
I didn't do mine from a kit, but I know they do sell the wedding invite kits at Walmart, Target, and Micheal's. It would definitely save you money and I hear they are really easy.
