If you are like me and REALLY want real flowers but do not want the price tag to come with it then I hope I can give you some ideas. I always knew I wanted a really unique flower that fits my personality. We are doing a nature/rustic theme with greens and browns so the flower I decided I need was the spider mum...Now I know this is a rather odd wedding flower however I LOVE how it looks, especially in a bouquet. I found these flowers at Costco for 79.99 for 80 stems...THATS $1 A PIECE!!!! I had looked at carnations before and they were around the same price....So I plan to do like the picture with the beans and pink flowers except with coffee beans and a spider mum....the great thing about this flower is that it is sturdy and they last 2-3 weeks... I am having long tables so I will do a few per table and then lots of candles...I am going to experiment with different heights and so on.....I am also doing all the other flowers and still figure I will only spend around 300 on them...now this is very cheap for real flowers....I am not suggesting this is the cheapest centerpiece I am just saying it is cheap for real flowers....Now you could also do a fake flower in there because nobody could tell because they wouldnt be touching it....My flower girl will also be throwing button mums and the guys bouts. will be botton mums as well. I hope I inspired someone to come up with a great cheap alternative also!
