Me and my fiance have decided to really try to keep the wedding budget at the max $12,000...i know its hard to do with weddings these days but we are really are going to try... we are having a small intimate wedding around 75 to 90 max!..i hope!! he said that we are dividing the cost 3 ways: my parents,his parents and us which i think is reasonable..honestly saving just our part is going to be tough on us.. his parents have never mentioned this idea to me though, and im uncomfortable to bring it up..my dad however said that he would pay for my dress and renting the reception location ( i dont think the extras like catering etc. etc.) so I am not sure what to do at this point and i want to set these wedding plans in motion... anyone having any issues.. damn why do weddings have to be so much money?!!

i want a photographer...thats going to listen to our ideas.untraditonal.. but most importantly AFFORDABLE!! I have been going on photographers websites and i am overwhelmed with the cost of wedding photography.Some of them offer 4hrs all the way to 8hrs..its going to be a smaller intimate wedding so i dont need a gazilllion pictures either.. to sum it up i want a photographer thats going to take amazing pictures and not break the bank.....

call me cheezy but i absolutely love this!!!

the 2nd pic is my Moms Favorite ..its also the most expensive $1100!!
they are paying for the dress but i told her i wasnt going to let her spend that much on a dress.. she is very determined to get it though.. lol my favorite is still the first one they are similar.. except the 2nd one is alot poofier!! however the dress i tried on was a size 6 so the sales person said it would have fit me like the first one





my favorite are the first three...i tried on like thirty dresses all of them were so different ...my 2 bridesmaids and my mother in law to be came with me. My mom had to work so she couldnt go.. we are going to go soon though so she can see them on rather than just pictures ..her favorite was the sixth one which i ABSOLUTELY hated i couldnt even walk in It.it was verrry poofy and not very flattering... my mom in law liked the 8th one which was actually on sale for $349 i thought it was too simple though.. the lady told me that every dress i liked didnt come in petite which means more $$$ for alterations..just my luck..i have talked to brides who have told me not to get my alterations there...well which one do you guys like??

I went to Barnes and Nobles and saw a large amount of wedding planning books,checklists and diarys..is any one using these and finding them helpful? my friend said she had absolutely no use for her planner...however i am on a budget and at this point VERY unorganized.. i know i need to get a move on with the planning ...im constantly telling everyone "oh i have plenty of time" when in reality i should probably get started im the "ultimate procrastinor"..everyone keeps saying it will be here before you know it...

and i cant wait!! i either want a decorated gazebo or a beautiful arch covered in flowers and greenery....
i even like the simplicity of this one

my mom is going to make the flower balls like in the fourth pic except with green and white hydrangeas

i want to do something different for the seating arrangements i love the idea of sticking the seating cards in grass..i also like the idea of writing the wedding guests names on rocks we have collected .. i saw on the knot.com the bride and groom had two friends take polaroid pics of the guests as they arrive in exchange for their pictures they take their seating cards.Picture 4. what a wonderful idea :)

I absolutely love candy apples.. i thought they would be perfect especially with a fall wedding..i want favors that my guests can actually enjoy.. wedding favors should be something to symbolize your special day..not be thrown away in a week. jeez you put so much effort into it why not make it enjoyable too!

Our wedding date is really special its the day we started dating..we started dating 4 years ago Oct 3rd 2003...wow its seems like forever ago...High School Sweethearts <3 i was absolutely thrilled that Oct 3rd falls on a Saturday in 2009.since the date was pretty important to us .. i got my date and i have plenty of time to plan ;0 )

not too sure what i want them to look like heres some ideas.. i absolutely love the monogram ..im not sure if i want to put it in the middle of the dance floor or on the door .. either way they are going to look great

I want amazing reception decor.. i want tons of candles and flowers..and amazing fabrics .. and then reality sets in .. i am on a budget... and i need to find these things at a reasonable price..Me and my mom are going to try to do alot of the decorations on our own sense we both consider ourselfs pretty creative...any suggestions would be appreciated

i absolutely love the look of the brown tie and vests with a black suit .."everyone" keeps telling me eww that doesnt look right however i know that its going tie in with the rest of the wedding and look great!

I love the eleageant and simple look of hydrangeas so i want that to be the main flower.. i want different colors of flowers placed in the bouquets

i am pretty sure i want a sweetheart neckline i want a little poof like in the 2nd picture .. at first i thought i wanted the big poofy princess dress but changed my mind im short so i didnt wanna look lika an oompa loompa ....i love alot of the dresses from Davids Bridal I have yet to try on wedding dresses since i do have some time.. i am going to make an appointment though looking at all of these dresses makes me want to get my dress now!!

The scene in a Cinderella Story was exactly what i envisioned! i want a small intimate wedding so the guest list should be around 75 to 90 people I was suprised because we picked out our wedding song two years ago.. and it just so happened to be " I'll Be'' by Edwin Mcain...the same song they dance to in the Amazing gazebo ..it was fate lol. i absolutely love that song .the instrumental version is so difficult to find... yet i intend on finding it ...we havent chose the ceremony sight yet but our hearts our set out on a nature park right before sunset.I love the gazebo idea but i also like the the four wooden post idea..Decisions Decisions

UPDATE
I have decided to go with tea length dresses all the girls tried on these 2 dresses and they look good on all of them

if i pick this one they will be wearing a celadon or olive color sash or ribbon.. im really leaning towards the top one




i love the chocolate dresses yet undecided if i want a green or purple sash.. still have not decided on long or tea length dresses.. some people are telling me if im having it in a park i want to go with tea length but the long dresses are really pretty and elegeant too ..

i have decided on chocolate dresses with celadon green..purple will still be accented lightly in the bouquets

i love all of these cakes.. i want a three tiered cake with brown ribbons either purple hydrangeas or green maybe even a little bit of both

He suprised me for our four year anniversary with a mini trip to Orlando.. We had a blast...shopping and eating my two favorite things to do :) he asked me to marry him in our hotel room just before we were ready to leave for dinner he asked me if i could spend another day without him and like a smart ass i said yes but laughed and said i was just kidding.. i turned around to see him on one knee i didnt believe it i thought it was a mean joke.. since he had assured me earlier in the week that he wasnt ready to get married.. i was in complete shock that i tackled him to the ground before even saying yes ..
