The consultant didn't tighten it enought at the top, and my hem line needs to be shortened... but other than that i'm happy!

This is a perfect example of going with your gut instinct ladies :-) I knew I loved my dress without trying it on

My tiara (see previous post) has pearls in it as well as crystals.. so I was trying to stay within that theme.

I was BS'n on etsy today lol, and came across this beauty.. they have a matching neclace, but I thought it would be too much going on. I'm just gonna wear a nice pair of chandelier vintage earrings, with pearls in it. :) Whadda ya Think?

I think the name of the seller is TZTUDIO. Gorgeous things on Etsy!

This is not the actual brooch, my brooch is in the shape of a flower, but just as gorgeous :)

[DJ & Lights are BOOKED!]
Hey ladies!

I did not know that DJ's cost so freakin much! My Husband asked me "how much do you think the DJ will run?" I'm all "ohh not that much maybe 500-600 dollars". So the wedding planner has this dj call me, we start talking about all the things I want.. and it all sounds so lovely, and I ask "how much?" he says 1865.00!! LOL! So here's the thing, we didn't really have a budget for the DJ, so i can't really say that he's over, but it definitely wasn't what i was expecting. So yeah... DJ for 5 hours including ceremony and cocktail hour and reception, a Hype man (lol), Lighting for the room, and 4 over head lighting for the dance floor= 1865.... We love to dance and have fun so he better be good! ::sigh:: i need to get into the DJ business! lol

No longer going to Greece OR Mexico (We wanted the presidential suite, but since it wasn't available anymore, i didn't want to stay anywhere else in Mexico). WELL! with that being said, I figured we'd try a different country lol. so JAMAICA it is! And this time I promise its official.. BOOKED AND PAID IN FULL! 5 Star Luxury hotel, Penthouse Suite, couples only! 8 days of bliss lol..

Nobody will see my shoes during the ceremony, so I'm mostly concerned about when I change into my reception dress. My reception dress is just an ivory fitted cocktail dress with minor details, but still sultry :)...

First Class to Maya Riviera-- The Royal Playa Del Carmen... 7/8 days

In my previous post I was debating between two resorts, and after some long hard researching I booked our Honeymoon at the Royal! I'm so excited... Para Sailing-- Jet skii's to the mayan ruins-- Zip line thru the jungle-- and Horseback riding on the beach... and whatever else between!!!! :) I'm ready!!!

[I can't decide!!!]
Ok so originally we were going to Greece, but we FINALLY recieved leave dates last night, and our wedding falls to close to the end of it. So we've decided to take our trip first, the week before the wedding and stay some what close to home in case an emergency arises lol...

We chose Maya Riviera Mexico, b/c its only a 4 hr flight from NY...

These are the Choices:

Excellence Playa Mujeres-- 2 story Rooftop Suite with a Private Pool on the rooftop terrace and indoor/outdoor Jacuzzi....all inclusive

Has anyone ever been here?! If so, how was your stay? I wanna make sure my husband and I are gonna have the best time possible, especially b/c its around spring break!

Are you Giving your Officiant a Gift?..
My husbands Uncle is a Minister, who's flying out to New York for our wedding as a GUEST.... But I was thinking about sending him a nice letter asking him to be our minister for the ceremony. I figured since its our *vow renewal* it would be a nice touch to have a family member do our wedding, instead of a random officiant in NYC. lol.

I also wanted to give him a gift, as a token of our appreciation. Is anyone else giving there Officiant a gift.. and WHAT SHOULD I GET HIM? I'm so lost lol.
