hello my fello WBC sisters . I have been one busy bride, with school about to wrap up in my children sporting events its has been banana's. I just want to share some of the DIY projects that I have completed.

1. My Save The Date Sign (taken from justmeandhim, thank you so much). I went to Michael's for the board. I went to Hobby Lobby for the wooden numbers, hearts and wood glue. I went to walmart to get the Glossy White and Black spray paint. I follwed the instruction that justmeandhim gave on her STD positing ( page 18, lol). Annd it came out great. My phographer just loved it.

2. My L O V E lettes, i just simple found these individaul letters at Hobby lobby, bought four different color paints and a pack of brushes and paint the letters. Will be using this as another prop for our engagement session.

3. My tears of joy. I reached out to shannypooh once again and she has done an amazing job, i will post the labels in the next blog I am doing shortly after this one. But I bought the clear envelops on ebay for like 12 bucks for 150. Dollar tree has the kleenex with 8 single packages inside on one for only a dollar, so I grabbed like 10 ( I know way over board). I bought the ribbon which will go around ( cut then at like 7" ) the envelop at JoAnn fabric for about 1.97. Once shannypooh compeled my tears of joy sticker( which took her less than an hour) I order then from VistaPrint. They should be hear Tuesday (so finish product I will post)

4. Just this pink and blue initial sign that I picked up from hobby lobby that is a C and a S.

5. And i added more jars to my candy buffet.

So we have booked our engagement pictures for June 17. I am supper excited. We have 3 different locations and 3 different outfits, yeah I know right. One of our locations will be downtown Dallas, whichh as some great skyscrapper ( one in which we are getting married at) and and art district that is so colofukl and fun playful artwork throught downtown. Our second location will be the Dallas Arboretum, this was a close runner-up for where I wanted my wedding to be at, but outside on July and in TEXAS is a no go. This place has some beauitful gardens and walkways that take your breath away, he we will be in white since the garden is so colorful. I thinking a long white maxi sun dress for me and FH in a white polo shirt with some jeans and white polo shoes. Out 3rd location will be a track since we both are track coches, and our passion for the sports. I really dont have to many ideas for this location so if any of you ladies do please leave a comment. We are both doing our college track shirt him, University of Texas and me Texas Sate, so we need some props for sure but Im supper excited about getting my hair and second make-up trial going. Hello my WBC sisters. this has been something that I wanted to share and asked my fellow brides about. So FH and I have decided to wait for our honeymoon to re-give ( lol, re-give) ourselves to each other. I know in todays time things are way different then that they were years, years, years, ago and old tradions. so of my BM's think is is a great idea and others dont think WE can hold out that long. Trust it is a test and I know in my heart that it will be worth the year wait. Just wanted to know are there some other brides that have given your groom a cut off date or is it just me?

Yes my candy buffet is coming together, Im not quite done yet just a few more taller pieces and I think that we will be goo. Since FH and I LOVE candy, I mean all different kinds we wanted to have a candy buffet something that my country people haven't seen before at a wedding. This is one project that I am super duper excited for. Going to the thrift stores, ebay and craigslist has help me create my huge candy buffet I am going for.

Ok ladies I have been extremely busy planning this wedding. We have booked photographer, florist, dj and now our cake, We met with our cake lady, well she come to your house with samples. and I must say these cakes was yummy. I saw this cake on the Amazing wedding cake show, we have change some details about the cake and just want to know what my WBC sister think. Oh yeah I did take picture of the cake from my TV, oop, lol.

So I am not the girly girl type that was caught playing in mommys make up growing up. I never knew to much about it until my early years in colleg but didnt really start wearing it until about a year ago, lol ( I know right). i use to go to youtube to look up how to apply it and all that good stuff. When FH and i first got together he was totally into my natural beauty and still is but once i began to waer make up he was really impress stating as long as your lips are shinny that is fine with me. So I knew I wanted a makup artist for my wedding. We did the first trial Sunday and it turned out good. I had to get use to the lashes, never wore them before and it felt really weird at first. Overall i was very happy with the outcome, it made me feel totally like a women in new skin. She is going me for the BIG day, engagment session and my 2 MOH's 6 BM, 2 Mothers, 1 grandmother and jr. brides and flower girls FREE for 600 with airbrush and lashes, in my opinion not bad compared to other places I have looked. I posted so pictures just let me know what my WBC sisters think, I will be adding purple to my eyeshadow as well.

Oh and dont pay my nappy head any mind. Im natural and was in the process of taking my kinky twist down, sorry, lol.

I was looking at this company that my reception/ceremony vendor recommended and we feel in love. damask is not our theme but its to pretty of a cake and the height I want. So the damask part will be in egglplant with flamingo flowers in the middle. Share your opinions ladies on what you think.

So the wedding planning has been taking off pretty good. FH and I met with our florsit this past Saturday and we were super excited. FH had more say so than I thought he would have. I am quite happy with what all we are getting, do to the fact that we are not the normal, traditional couple. We have having an all white ceremony and color for the reception. She is doing some unique arrangments and our girls will be our jr. brides and carry an arrangement shape like a lollipop. She is very creative and I respect her craft. The feeling just felt that she was the florist for us. We also booked or linens, napkins and charger through her for the cheapest I've seen. Hello ladies I have been meeting with different florist and decor vendor to help me bring my special day to life. I am one of those color brides whom do not wish to have the traditional white and black linen's. I love a colorful reception and I am hoping that mine will be just that. So just to pick so of you brides brain, I was wonderin git this quote for flowers around about the same or close to what you may have been paying. Here are my wedding colors, the FH wants his groomsman in purple so I played around with the idea of having my bridemaids in fushia and then my MOH in purple. I really didnt have an idea as to how these to colors would turn out. I didnt want them to clash or have my wedding coors all over the place.the little boy suit will be gray as well. The junior bride will be our girls, and the junior grooms will be our sons (we are a blended family) so I want then to stand out a little to. Tell me which one you like the best.
