Wedding Decoration
Im so Confused.. HELP!!

Okay this wedding stuff is very overwhelming and I keep saying I have 20 more months but still. I am trying to compare business and prices to get the more affordable price for the vision I want. So I have been looking for companies to design my wedding and I have come across an issue. I was wondering who is responsible for the wedding decor, is it one company or many like the florist, the lighting ppl and the linen company. If it is many companies, how would they know what goes well with the lights and linens and flowers, like how am I suppose to vision all that at 3 different locations. I need some clarity, Im about to loose my minds, up in here, up in here.

It really depends....one of the companies I'm going with handle draping, flowers, linens, chairs, tables, stages, lighting, and other little things.

My venue is taking care of a few things because it's already in my package like the linens, chairs, and tables. I already have my own florist who I wanted to go with. I'm having one company handle my stage, draping, and lighting.

So you may have multiple vendors to handle your decor. It's best to go with one company if possible though.

WOW and if you dont mind me asking like what is your budget at for all this, I put a budget of 6500 I dont know if thats about right. I know it depends on what I want, Im just trying to get an idea. I never realize how stressful planning can be in Im at the beginning, LORD guide me.

For my decorations I'm using a separate florist and separate linen person. I also i'm getting decorations from a family friend of mine. The key is two have pictures and swatches of what you are for sure using!! For example I found a boquet that i wanted and along with pictures of the BM dress and swatches I we made it work. my florist is replecating the boquet and centerpieces will look simular. The candelabras (from my family friend) fits in nicely with the floral. as for the linen i just sent pictures of linen that i think will look great with what i already have and also sent the lady pictures of my flowers, BM dresses, and candelabra........I'm waiting to see what she thinks!! Trust me if you have a vision in mind it will workout!! Good luck!!

you can have separate vendors hun but it depends on what you want and if that one vendor is able to give you all the services you require from them then you can go solo with one vendor but if not it doesn't hurt using multiple vendors.

Our reception venue is providing the food, drinks, providing the chairs, tables and white linen for the tables and chair covers because it all falls under our package. Then we have a wedding planner who is doing the décor with our colour scheme using her fabric, lighting, runners, flowers, and all the accents we require to have the royal banquet :)

It depends really but i think the fewer the vendors the lesser the hustle, dont stress hun it will all work out just do your home work and research and you'll be fine xox

There are vendors out there that can provide all of these for you. I didn't want to have multiple vendors to deal with, less stress. My florist is a one stop shop.
