So we are officially in our new house! now all the unpacking begins.......do you have my razor... it went missing lol....

so I had two job interviews last week with one company and am suposed to hear this week and now my FH's mom is trying to get me into were she works (i get 13 now will get 16 at the polace i interviewed at and if I get in with her it starts at 19 and is 5 min from the new house the other is 1/2 hr away so.....fingers crossed and trying to have faith and hoping I get a job... im not to picky either would be good the seccond would be great money wise but the 1st would make me happier but right now ill choose $$ over my happiness)(FH is laid off until spring)

Ok so I was in chatham today for a job interview(went well BTW I think... One more friday) and I had to stop by the florist as I had to make a few changes and we got talking about decorations(Im having a decorator do EVERYTHING as per the contract with the venue BUT
you can bring in your own centerpieces and they suply all the white table cloths you want and black or white linnen napkins so my florist and I came up with a cute and way cheeper centerpiece 3.50 each vs 15$ each and use the halls linnens instead of renting

20 tables = 140$

5$ each x 20 tables = 100$

is anyone feeling like they just need a break from wedding and christmas and all that lol... I just feel like i have so much going on with moving and the wedding and christmas. I think I need two of me lol... so i think everything can just go on pause then full speed ahead after the move....

ok so its going to be a tight squeeze if everyone shows up but heres the idea(even with this idea 4 ppl cant come lol... were currently at 202 but 6 ppl standing up.....)

Ok so im stuck...... I dont know if I want to do favours(the chocolate calla suckers(about100 for everything)) or make a donation to big brothers big sisters in honour of my fh father who passed this year(he was one of the first big brothers on our area, hmmmmm........

if we do the choclates we would do them ourselfs f/h is worried about it looking "cheap" and that people dont eat them anyways.

if we do the donation we just have to print cards stating such and would get the tax credit.....??? i dont know I like the choclates lol

*update* Ok so called my dad today... I decided since he is paying such a HUGE part of the bill I would go with what makes him happy and the golf corse would be fine just a bit pricey but we can take it from the stag and doe money......

so he said he would pay for the cerimony costs AND the chairs and we can go to the farm to do pics if we wanted to just take a 2hr between cerimony and dinner(people can just drink/eat orderves(sp?))(its only a 15 - 20 min drive) and it means only one location for guest to go to etc so it is easier and only one invite instead of cerimony/dinner invites..... *update*



OK so my day of stress doesnt get anybetter...
i called my dad to tell him i had finished making the proof for our wedding invites and read everything off to him and he was like uh... what do u mean our house for cerimony I thought you were doing everything at the golf corse... i was like no you had said you house was ok(there was a BIG to do about this in the begining step mom was stressed about 200 ppl comming tho thier house)


so now everything is up in the air the golf course would be easier(15-20 min drive between locations) but we have to pay an extra 300$ to have the cerimony on the grounds on top of the 300$ for chair rentals(they dont have enough "outdoor" chairs.....) and normally i would just say fine day you pay the extra but he is already paying for the meal wich will be around six grand...... hmmmmmm

lol ok so I just realized it was seven months to the day lol..... and im just getting the proofs for the invites i dont have anyones adress were still trying to whittle down the guest list, out tent wont fit everyone comfortably(im hoping at least 25 people dont come lol.. is that bad...????) were at 202 right now and our tent is only 30x40(just for the cerimony incase of rain) were fine for the reception.....um ok just minor freakage!!!!!! oh yeah and my FH is out of work so unless we find that money tree int he back yard(his job is only seasonal he is a heavy equipment opeator)... and im starting a new job that only gaurentees part time ... HELP!!!

ok so there was NO WAY im spending 200-300 on invites (we have over 200 guests so even at 2$ an invite thats way to much lol) so I played around on paint(I am going to redo these in a better program now that i know what I want) but just to give everyone an idea. then just take them to the printer

So yesterday we had our 1st fitting with all the girls. the day started oof well enough everyone LOVED the dress I picked out for the girls and loved my dress :) :) but then came time for my girls to be fitted two are quite thin and one is not now she is not a fat cow by any standards shes just a bit overweight(my size actually) and because of two measily dress sizes she has to pay 100$ more than the other girls! I wanted to crawl under the table i wanted to cry I felt so bad 300$ is alot to ask someone to pay!! i did offer to help pay some but she refused, she wanted to get the smaller size and not have to pay and hoped she lost weight ( I WASNT TAKING THAT CHANCE) so I bought her a bottle of booze last night and I will pay her hotel room the night of (ive already told the other girls why, and that they will NOT be getting this and they understand) .... i just cant understand 100$ for two sizes

ok so it wount let me upload the pic :( ill keep trying we have decided to go with cupcake tower and a cake top... i think it looks so pretty and solves our disagreement over cake vs cupcakes. :)

Ok so yipeee im starting school part time again in January for my anatomy and physiology and Com200G (comunications class). Then back to full time in sept! Im so excited this year is just crazy! Ive been out of school for 5 years. Im finally going to finish my nursing!

Hey sorry I havent had time / energy to blog lately things have been a bit crazy around here. My fiancee has been laid off(we were hoping it wouldnt have been until nov/dec (hes a heavy equipment operator so it goes by weather/when the projects done)) So lets hope he can find something else until christmas or he may have to go to BC for the winter.(and I deffinatly DONOT want that!) oh and we may be moving an hour away in JAN(back to the city we used to live in) with him being all over the province for wrk i would rather be close to friends/ family. That and were going to be getting a HOUSE not an apartment yes a HOUSE woohooo! Well a semi at least. I miss having my own yard. and my MOH/ my best friend in the whole world will be moving in with us! And my job is willing to transfer me down to thier office there.

Ok so i think this is the head table were going with I love that it has the cake table in front to make it look bigger as were only going to have 6 people at the front. Our colours are black,white and wine and our flowers are callas and roses!

Ok I know your not suposed to plan your own shower before anyone decides to bite my head off.....im not, Im just helping as theres only my MOH and 1 Bm who happens to be my 14 yr old sister. and my MOH is a bit tight cash wise.

so my future SIL suggested a small hall out in the middle of nowhere.... I LOVED IT! its an old 1900's school house that has been updated. and even better my FH's grandma went to school there and it should be big enough for the 40 or so ppl were having. the next 3 pictures are prizes ive strarted to get for some of the games.

The last picture was just an idea I came up with not sure if im going to use it or not..... we were talking about doing that game where you make ppl make a wedding dress from TP so what if we used the TP to make a center pices an have it look like cake....my step mom didnt live the idea however so... we'll see!

ok so I had ordered a veil from the bridal shop (173$ later) yuck..... so feeling like it was complete waste of money..... but what to do (I am no Marth Stuart)

so I was online looking for cheep tulle. Micheals wants 50$ for not much so i thought I would try good old ebay.... so not only did I find amazingly great priced tulle I also found a tiara and veil for 19.99 plus shipping so 25$ total! It comming in next week but how bad can you mess up a veil?

OK im OCCASIONALLY indecisive.....SO when we first got engaged i was VERY VERY excited about planning. So i went dress shopping with my mother in law to be... nothing... i went by my self once NOTHING well i found one but i wasnt about to pay THAT much!
so I waited a few weeks and went back again .. I just felt like the girls were trying to make a sale and not giving me what I thought I wanted

so I picked out dress # 1

as I was by myself i wanted a seccond opinion....so I made my mom and sister come up the next weeked and we could pick out bridesmaid dresses at the same time.

The dress was aproved and bridesmaid dresses were picked! deposits were paid but because my sister was only 12(almost 13) at that time we decided to wait on the fittings incase she hit a growth spurt.

In the mean time I had put the pictures of me on the computer and didnt realize I had put it in the general folder so they played on my screan saver so FH has seen it ( he was ok with it however.. whatever I like and makes me happy(and within buget))

so a few months later again..... now for the past moth ive been staring at myself in these pictures and definatly NOT in love so I went into the bridal store......

AS I have not been sized and it hasnt been ordered im in luck but my order has to be put in SOON otherwize it wont be in intime for june with any alterations etc......

so I pulled 2 other dresses and the one I originally picked. so I put on the 1st one and grin ear to ear... a bit out of what i was planning on spending but it just looked so nice.....So I tried on the seccond one but it just didnt suit me at all and looked CHEAP!! and then I put on the one I had picked before .... no smiles just eh... whatever.... so i retried on the 1st one and knew that that was it I had to change the order so 300 almost 400$ more later the order was put in :D

So I called my mom and dad and told them I changed my mind on the dress after a few are you sure's everyone was satisfied...

So so far we've had a bit of drama....
we started out with 1 MOH 2 BM and 1 BM and 1 GM....
so my them MOH decided to fall of the face of the earth and that everythign in her life was jsut to stressful/ busy to pick up the hone for a five min phone call. I understand ppl get busy etc so i was upset but willing to move on she txt me to go for cofee we talked I told her i was upset that she couldnt even return a call in 2 months.. she said she still wanted to be MOH and everything was fine. th next day FH txt me to ask if we could get her and best man together for a pow wow of sorts and delagate some things.... I asked her to pick one saturday in july I just needed her for maybe 2 hrs well this was too much for her (should I mention she only works mon - friday and has no children or boyfriend to speak of so its not like Im asking that much!) so I didnt say anything I just left it ( I was to pissed). so about a month later I tried to contact her I had made my decition and wanted to talk to her face to face to explaine it ... after two week of trying to reach her nothing she FINALLY msg'd me on msn to tell me someone hit her car(I really think she just likes it to be about her).. so I endugled(sp?) her for 1/2 hr then told her I needed to speak with her about something important if she could call me. Well she was too busy to call... so i saif *F* it and wrote her a really nice long email explaining why i was taking this extra burden off her sholders as she didnt seem to have time for it and if she wanted to just eb a bridesmaid that was up to her(ive been friends with her since highschool so didnt want to cut her off completly) so i got a msg back if I cant be MOH dont bother....WOW! the one groomsmen we lost bc he WAS engaged to my long time best friend(the one who should have been MOH in the 1st place the only reason the other girl was asked was because she lives closer, my best friend is an hour away!) so since they split it was just alkward and we havent hung out with him since so.... and im not sure if my other friend is still in it or not we both work opposite schedules and she got a new boy toy who lives 3hrs away so shes never home.....

So it all started at my dad's 50th birthday party, my wonderful sneeky fiancee had a moment to talk to my dad and asked him if it was ok to marry me (obviously i was obvlious to this and had no idea!) so there goes october and november. Durring december were at his moms and he tells me to getsomething out of the glove box and I see a jewlery bag (AND FOR SOME REASON I DIDNT LOOK) I thought it was for his mom. He freaked for a while thinking I saw it....

so we were going to be at our parents for christmas and wanted to open our "us gifts alone. I had gotten him giftcirtificates for his stero system he wanted for the truck(his other love). I think he got me a blender a really cool statue from green eath I wanted and some candles(can never have enough of those!) so I was happy and thought that was it although dissapointed cause i thought i was getting jewlery(he told me he took it back... I thought it was a braclet or necklace).

So the next morning we wake up and pack up the truck to head to my moms for christmas dinner. On the way out of town he stops to grap a pop and choclate bar and sends me in( i can never pick what I want I have to go and look.... yeha im diffrent). So I get out to the truck and theres a big build a bear box. he says casually oh i forgot one of your presents. so I open it and its a bear in a wedding dress and on the wrist was tied my ring so i take it off and im holding in my hand just looking at him half in shock half just waiting.. hes still not saying anything just looking at me....

(heres where you can tell im a bit country) so I ask him... So are you going to ask me or what?!?!?

so of corse he does and obviously I said yes!
