The organ at our church
The organ at our church

Ceremony
Music

Well, seems like I'm stuck with organ music. Not that theres anything wrong with the organ - its very regal and all - but thats just not me. If it were up to me I'd do a flute trio. Or a harp. But the music requirements at my church are super strict so I'm stiking with the organ and having a vocalist. I found some good links to organ wedding music and vocal samples though. I had no idea there are atleast seven different versions of the ave maria! Wagners is my fav.

Here are the sites for anyone interested:

UGH! I'm really sorry you're having to comply with your church's strick requirements. This is your day and to think that someone else has final say in what you do is really a bummer. I think it's going to serve you well in the end to be taking it in stride. It isn't something you can change so you just have to make do. It does stink but you  will be happier in the end if you work with what you have and make the best of it. We can't use candles for our ceremony or reception unless they are in a holder 2" higher than the highest point of the flame.  We are finding ways we never even thought of (and like even better) because of this requirement.  Your ceremony will a beautiful occasion and one you will remember fondly. Good luck with everything!

Although it's not quite you.. I'm sure it will be beautiful anyway. Flutes would be so nice too though. Sorry that you are disappointed.

Thank you for the post to your blog on those colors! Very inspirational
