Ask a Question
What should the Maid of Honor wear?
Question for all you brides out there. How many of you have your maid of honor in a different dress or color than the bridesmaids? Is it necessary to do that? I need help with this one. All my bridesmaids have ordered their dresses and my maid of honor will order hers in the next week or so. I really like the look of them all wearing the same dress. Help!!!
The third pic is sorta of like the dresses I picked out. The bridesmaid dresses are strapless with a cumberbund sash around the middle in davids bridal color malibu which is a deep turquoise color. The dresses are black. And they all will be having there shoes dyed to match the sash in malibu. |

DIY Wedding
I DO BELIEVE THAT IVE LOST MY MIND!
Believe it or not but I have changed my colors for a second time! In the very beginning I was going to have cobalt blue, sunflower yellow, and silver. After seeing a wedding in those colors I changed my mind and went with turquoise and apple green, which I still love but unfortunately could not find the right color to go with. NOw and it is set in stone Ive going with turquoise, black, and white.
I would like my bridesmaids to wear black dresses with turquoise sashes. Depending on the length of the dress will depend on the color of shoe but I think if thier dresses are tea length then we will do turquoise shoes too lol! The third and forth pics are items for the wedding. The LOVE letters are going to be placed either by the cake or on the candy buffet tables. The pomanders will be hanging on sheppard hooks making the wedding aisle. Ive got tons to do since I changed my mind but I got time to do it! SO wish me luck! |

Ask a Question
BRIDESMAIDS!!!!!
OKAY ladies have a question for you all.
So as of right this moment I have 4 possibly 5 bridesmaids. This month I will be going back home and going shopping with them for dresses. Now all of my bridesmaids have different body types. Is it better to have them all wear the same style like strapless or would it be better to keep the color the same and change the style of dress? Im very indecisive about this cause one of my girls is bigger than the rest and would not do well in a strapless dress but the others would look wonderful! HELP I need advice! And are there any WBC brides going through the same thing? I put up a few pics that I found. The first two are of different styles the third is of the same and the last pic is the idea of what I want my bridesmaids to wear. |

Paleo Diet
I CAN DO IT!
I would say a little over four months ago I started this diet. I saw results very quickly with in the first two weeks. They were not huge results but I was okay with that. Then I ended up having to have two more surgeries since then. With that I had a little bit of a set back and gained the wieght I lost back and then some. But as of a couple weeks ago my doctor to the surprise of us all announced that my leg was finally healed after 13 months. So this brings me to today.
As of Oct 2nd, Im going for try #2, only this time it will be much easier with no more surgeries :). I now have about 35libs to lose. I dont think or even hope to lose that by my wedding in May but I do hope to lose at least 15lbs. So all you WBC brides out there wish me luck! I will keep you all updated! |

Wedding Invitation
ALMOST DONE!!!!
I have made a mock up version of the invitation itself. Not quite sure on the exact colors of the font, still playing with that. The invitation will be three layers. The third layer will be blue cardstock, the second layer the green cardstock and then the top layer will be the invitation itself printed on white cardstock.
In my mock version I have a green leafy vine down one side with blue butterflies. I will either print it this way or Im thinking of looking at some stamps and stamping the invitations. The reply cards are also done! Same theme for them also! The mailing envelopes will be white. The rsvp ones will be green. So minus the stamps, for 200 invites it will be about .60 cents each. Not bad I say :) I have also decided that I will send a envelope for the reply cards but will cut out the directions card out of the invitation. Instead on the reply card I will have a website where people can go to view the lodging, attractions, restaurants, directions, and learn about the wedding itself. I set up this through weddinng channel.com The best part is on this people can also rsvp. |

Changing color schemes!!!!
Orginally I wanted to have cobalt blue, yellow, and silver as my wedding colors. But I have had a change of heart :) I have always loved the color blue is my fav! And then when I was browsing the internet I came across these colors, blue and lime green. I love these colors together! And the fh agreed with the switching since he was not too thrilled with the yellow lol. Just in case anyone else loves these colors as much as I do I have a few pics with diff ideas :) |

DIY Wedding
OKAY Ladies, this week and next I am planning on tackling making my pomander balls for the wedding. Im debating whether to use tissue paper, flowers, or ribbon to make them. Honestly, I think it will all come down to the cost. Any helpful tips I can get would be awesome!
Im leaning towards hanging them from the chairs that will be outside for the wedding and then at the top is a gazebo, which is where we will be married in. Im thinking for that I might use some streamers and a couple pomander balls. After the wedding there will be a few pictures taken, but not many since most will be taken b4 the wedding. During this time I have a person that is willing to take the pomanders down and go put them in the reception place on a few designated tables. I love the fact that I can use this lil guys twice! |

LOOK what my soon to be hubby gave up for me!!!!
My soon to be hubby gave up his hot air ballon ride for me! This weekend was a fabulous weekend. The experience was amazing :) It was a perfect night to go ballon riding. I posted some pics so everyone could see how cool it was!
This ride inspired me to jump back into the wedding planning mode. After two surgeries in less than two months, I was losing my motivation. Im glad to say though that this last surgery has been a success and Im finally feeling like myself again. |
