ok so where does everyone plan on getting dressed?
When my best friend got married-she dressed @ her house. Which was also her mom's house. So only a few girl's were there, as well as the photographer.
Should I dress @ home, or should I dress @ the church? They have a bridal room there available??

You should get dressed at home and you can have the photographer take pictures of all the excitement there! I am having a destination wedding so getting ready with all my girls in my room they are giving my FH a room the night before!

Like irishpocahontas we are also having a destination wedding so we are renting cabins to get ready in then we will be escorted to the venue (not sure how yet HaHaHa details details). I think its best to dress at home that way you are SURE you haven't forgotten anything and you can control who sees you and who does not.

Myself I feel in your own surroundings is better. Everything you will need is right there, you won't have to worry about packing things to the church. It will be more exciting, comfortable and the most important stress free. My plans are to get dressed at my mom's amd have my ladies join me there.

I got out of my crazy house and checked into our hotel suite. It was perfect. All by myself.....relaxed had the make-up and hair come to me and then off to pictures.......

Well...its really all up to you. I am thinking of getting dressed at the church. Doing the hair and make up early then head to the church to have the girls help me into my dress. I really dont want to risk having anyone see me in my dress before I walk down the aisle and i certainly dont want any of my sequins to fall off...LOL. i have to go get my veil this week...yay exciting.

I am getting dressed at the place we are getting married at. They have a brides room. We are heading over there as soon as me & my girls get our hair/makeup done.

I am doing hair and makeup before and then getting into my dress at the church.

I think I will probably get dressed at the church - they have a large bridal suite for me and my bridesmaids to all get ready in. Plus, if you put your dress on there and don't sit down, you won't risk wrinkling it by sitting in a car in it on the way to the church!

My girls and I are staying at my parents the night before, so we're all together the morning of. We're going to get our hair done, coming back to my parents and getting dressed there, and then driving to my MOH's house and getting picked up by the limo and taken to the church. You would probably be most comfortable getting ready at home, then at the church.

The place I'm getting married at has a bridal room. That's where the girls and I will probably put the dresses on and do last minute touches. We will be getting hair and makeup done earlier so it should be nice. I'm already working on making the bridal emergency kit instead of buying it. They can run like $50 or so, it will save a little money and headache.
