well sort of... My VS gift cards purchases
So from my Victoria's Secret Bridal Shower I was given lots of gift cards and was very excited to use them... I started off on the VS website and fell in love with these shoes! I instantly bought thsome the fuschia ones and plan to wear them at the bachelorette party and honeymoon... then again when FH and I go to the Essence Music Festival....
Next I went to the store to surprise my mommy with some eyeshadow (she loves eyeshadow) and FH was with me and looks to his left... he keeps tapping me and I look and there is edible chocolate, lotion, and powder... so I bought it and said ok baby, but for the honeymoon night ok :) he was smiling from ear to ear... so we are leaving out and FH says look all white stuff... lets go look... I found a wedding robe! It had crystal letter and was a light silk material.. I grabbed it instantly and the matching undies... I can use the robe when I slip my undergarmets on and getting my makeup done... Yay and I still have cards left |

They came in!!!
I had been meaning to do these for a while and finally remembered and Shayne (unpredictablebride) hooked these up for me... I got 100 of them free from vistaprint.com I just paid the shipping of $6.10...
I will place some at the guestbook sign-in table, some in the oot guest bags, some at the reception at the card table, etc... I use to round my edges and then saw Ms. Sonya's (gratefulbride) reception program and rounded corners, it brought back memories of cutting and punching my save the dates (but is it so worth the finished product) |

This may help you when uploading.....
I tried a little experiment and I proved my hypothesis!
This will help you when uploading pictures for your blog! Do your post in this order.... 1) Write your title 2) Upload your pics 3) Write your post, tags, etc... If you try and write your blog first it will sometime not work to upload pictures.. Hope this helps someone! |

Hey you guys! So I have been a little busy-bee and working on favors, diys, etc...
So this project in particular are my mini keychain favors to go in my gable boxes for the movie-themed rehearsal dinner... So far I have: Mr. & Mrs. Gable boxes ( i have a blog about that) mini water bottles(thanks shayne) CD favors(thanks to all who commented yesterday and who are still commenting on your favorite movie song on a soundtrack) and these mini keychains... I recruited help from FH, I cut the pictures and he pressed them in the keychains.. gotta love him... In the other pictures are the movie theater candy, we bought more and I think this is enough for the rehearsal dinner, we are expecting 50... |

Very modern and chic...
So I was wondering on what drinks to serve at the rehearsal dinner/movie themed.... FH says easy, slushies and soda... so we locked the slushies down and are working on the drinks.... It was outta sight outta mind until I saw gratefulbride's post about jones soda labels... I was like she is so on it! I have to "borrow" :) her inspiration and use it for the rehearsal... I was also thinking of tying the straws to it to like the pic, what do you think?

My Bridal Shower!!!

So I had my bridal shower yesterday! I had a blast y'all!
Here is the breakdown: The morning was rough... it was raining and I went to get my eyebrows done and the lady got wax in my hair... but going forward... I ended up changing my outfit, I did not like it the day of (referring to the tutu dress, so if anyone wants it please let me know, we can work something out...) The sun came out by one(shower was at three), I went to Mac to get my makeup done and the lady was amazing, I loved it, I even had on pink lipstick, it was so fun! My hairstylist had squeezed my in after I came back from the makeup appointment and touched up my hair! I get there and was so in awe! The decor was so pretty! It was hot pink, black and white with zebra accents! I saw my cake and forbid anyone to eat it! But they told me the top layer was all mine! All of my bridesmaids were dressed in pink and black and my maids and matrons wore matching zebra tanks! I had 42 guests and yet it still felt intimate enough whre I was not overwhelmed... The games... Bridal shower Bingo Purse Game Toilet Paper Dress Game And numerous raffles... The surprise game was how well do you know the groom... (earlier that week I was told we were playing how well do you know the bride and groom and to fill in the answers...) Well when we dtarted to play they told me to sit in the fron and they had pre-asked my FH some questions and I had to answer them, for each one I got wrong I had to put a piece of that big bubblicious gum in my mouth... That was hilarious! The menu... My fav nachos BBq Meatballs Wings Salad Veggie Tray Fruit tray rum punch juice soda water and my pretty cake (only the bottom layer though lol) Gifts were amazing, I got $615 dollars worth of gift cards! OMG I am so excited! I got the cutest lingerie and smell goods! They also kept telling me, you are only allowed 5 cries today! (everyone knows I am a crybaby at everything- since meeting FH, he broke down some water barrier with me) Well I kept laughing it off like ok I will use my crying wisely today... Well after opening my presents, they each went around and told how they met me and gave words of advice! Well needless to say, there was tissue needed the whole way through and I went WAY over my five cries... Advice that stood out was: Keep God First Keep people out of your business Recognize him as the head of the household, I am the helpmate and the heart of the house My FMIL surprised me and flew in and she was crying and saying she was so happy to have another daughter and that I am going to be his wife, I was boo-hooing you guys, my maid, my grandmother and one of my line sisters had my mac makeup on my cheek... I thoroughly enjoyed myself and so ready to be married! Now my head is going full forward ready to finish this planning process... Last thing: My father's side wants to throw us a one-year anniversay party in his hometown(Seguin,Texas- right outside of san antonio) for all guests who did not get to make it ( i am only having 200) and my dad's side has over 300..., they said they will pay for the convention center and the food and give 500 toward decor, so I will breathe a little after the wedding and just get right back in to my future theme... but lets get to June 19th first! |

So I asked Stephanie, a fellow WBC bride to make me a card box and also matching boxes for my candy buffet to add height and depth to my candy buffet table. She is great, she has styed in touch with me and showed me the progress as it came along... I felt as if I were right there with her step by step... I love my box ladies.I will post the candy buffet boxes when they are finished....
