Well Ladies (and any gents),

I wanted to do a proper exit, without just leaving you guys hanging. First things first, yes...I am still engaged, and happy and the whole nine yards. But the time has come to just simplify things on my end & "sign off" from WBC.

There are no major reasons, but for those of you who follow me here, I have invested alot of time & energy into my blog, & I LOVE the WBC Community, but after all I can possibly post & share, I really think my time is up. I haven't been as in to posting & blogging as I used to be on here, & I don't think it's fair to just drop off the planet without at least saying good bye!! I also have another blog that I share wedding details, as well as life details on, so my blogging is not totally finished, but I will not be devoting time here the way I used to.

Of course, I will peek in from time to time to offer supportive comments to you all here, and to all of the wonderful new brides as well. And, I will also be sure to share photos from when my day comes around.

On a final note, I just want to encourage all of you here to please continue supporting each other, leave encouraging posts (even if it's constructive criticism, leave it in love). It takes courage to post something as intimate as your wedding details to the world. So keep up the good work ladies, & I wish you all the best!!

Welcome Folders
A Little Southern Hospitality :)

I was VERY excited to come across some folders in our color, for .10c each at Staples. "Tiffany Blue" can be a hard color to match up sometimes.

Anyway, this is part of the final phase in our oot packs that we will have for our travelling guests at their hotel(s). They will get a gable box with a few goodies, & a folder with city information, hot spots, contact info, etc.. For the people coming in the night before, or the day of, this may not be that useful. BUT, for those coming in days in advance, it is really helpful. I took first hand experience as a guest when I recently travelled & had days to spare, but found it a little hard to locate the recommended things to do. It's easy to find out from a stranger, but sometimes it really helps to get first hand info from someone you know.

So...the folders aren't done. Im waiting for the welcome letter & a few other fun things. I gotta send a shout out to my girl, Gorgeous6 on the folder use. I was planning to just use/order pamphlets from Vista Print, but when I saw how convenient & neat her binders were, it made me second guess. I still love the pamphlets though, & really if we didnt have other inserts for the guests, ie, door hangers & photo sharing cards, that would be the way to go.

I can't find the pic of our gable boxes, but will post soon. :)

I am trying to catch up with some posts that I never made, but one very special one to me is a bouquet that I got from Cre8tive, on Etsy (also has a blog here).

I was looking for something a little smaller than my own bouquet, but with a style that was still beautiful, while being simple & stylish. Pictured is the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" bouquet & I really love it. Ive been trying to add a few ostrich feathers to it, but Im really not doing a good job at it, so I'll probably leave it the way it is. I think my MOH will love it as well.

I am a wedding for dummies kinda girl, so details with explanation are key to me, because I alot of my family will be new to some of the things that seem so old to alot of us planning brides.

I went to the Fabulous Unpredictable Bride aka Printable Bride aka Shayne, lol, & she formatted this infamous Polaroid Picture image for me to frame & display near the extra Photo Sharing cards that we'll have setup at the reception.

I LOVE them & can't wait to see it all in action!

BTW- the 2nd picture is the back side of our photo sharing card. The front side is in blog.

Gratefulbride Misses You Guys!
A Little M.I.A.!
OMGosh, ladies I am sorry that I've been just a little bit M.I.A. lately, lol! I don't want to use the excuse of being busy, but truthfully, so much has been going on, & I just have had to put my own projects on the back burner in order to help in other areas for other people. Before I go any further in sharing what I've been up to, I MUST congratulate & give shout outs to the Beautiful Brides: Nidhal, Tashasita , Cranetobe & Deanarae, as well as all of our other WBC sisters who married over the summer!!! I feel so out of the loop, lol! I have many blogs to visit & comment on.

On that note, I have been travelling (nothing extravagant, but I have been visiting with family, which has been beau-tee-ful!). I have been blessed with a promotion on my job. The summer portion was like boot camp! For those of you who don't know, I work with children & the program that I work for developed a summer camp, with yours truly as the Coordinator. I would go in as early as 6am & get home some nights at 8pm. This was an action packed camp, with weekly off-site field trips. Grades Kindergarten thru 9th. Yes, the middle schoolers were FRESH! Whoa. It was alot, but so much fun. Ive been working on my own business that Ive neglected so much, and been volunteering at a children's hospital, here in NC. Also, been helping in other areas where brides have requested my help. SO, I have really put my projects on hold, but I have a plan in mind to start really cranking some things out in full effect in the near future! Right now is not the time though because I am on a mission to redo my bedroom, lol. Its been bugging me, & I have LOTS of wedding stuff in there...it's like my workspace, but I have to stop. So, I am in the process of cleaning out some storage totes, & redoing my room in shades of pink & black & charcoal. Maybe some zebra, or classic-timeless stripes in black & white... any suggestions?

Okay, so now Ive typed a book, but I really miss you guys & I thank you all who have emailed, texted & even created posts ***winking at Unpredictable Bride & my Sis Monikas***. Thank you & Happy Planning! I'll be back soon with some projects!!

Just wondering if any of you are fans of the Very Sexy fragrance from Victoria's Secret. I am a big lover of their Love Spell & a few other VS fragrances, but I am wanting something new from them, & just wanted some real feedback on this particular scent. Let me know what you think!

I don't remember ever really smelling it, but will probably check it out this week.

Tent Cards!
Okay, so I was looking thru some of my deals & freebies from Vista Print & trying to see if there are any other items that I need to try and take advantage of. I saw these folded business cards, & my mind started racing. You really can use these for so many tent card functions. They're about the size you'd select for an escort or place card. HOWEVER, due to the fact that they print in bulk off of one design per discount/order, you pretty much would not be able to order different names on each card. But, in my case, I had some thank you cards made up at Etsy a few mons ago (will share pic once I take a pic). They are on tiffany blue shimmer cardstock, with a thank you message & damask. We plan on placing them at each place setting. Something like this can work with the Vista Print offer because it is basically just one generic design. No names or anything.

Just a thought. They're cards for 250 are $29.99 for matte or $49.98 for glossy. Still not a bad deal, but watch for deals because the one I had was for $5.99 for 250. Not bad at all!!!

I am anxiously excited about planning our special day, & living our very special life together. God has been so very good to us, & I will forever be grateful. Our colors are tiffany blue, irridescent white & steel gray with damask chandelier motifs. No theme really, just putting things together one day at a time.
