Just curious to know where/how you & your future hubby's met.
My fiance & I met 8 years ago at my job. There were no instant sparks, but later down the road, I changed jobs, which turned out to be his current workplace as well. We became great friends (all the while he had a crush on me & even remembered me from the first time we met)....which led to lots of phone conversations & interoffice emails & flirting, lol. Lots of "private" lunch outings. That all led to love, & so here we are.
Now here we are two years later...you never know where love will find you.
so I can literally say that i am marrying my best friend beasue he was that first.

After each of our grads we both went on with life. I ended up moving to Amsterdam for three years and he got married young and subsequently divorced. A few months after I came back from Europe I ran into him in a bar, wild coincidence. After an awkward first conversation: I came up to him and asked if he was the guy I remembered from high school and he insisted that his name was Jack and we'd never met! He told me later that when he saw a cute girl just walk up and start asking him his name he was afraid he was going to get a drink tossed in his face because he didn't remember me right away! After that he did come clean though and ask me out and we've been pretty much inseparable since then!
It's funny b/c we were friends about 2 years before we "hooked up"
(Whoa! That was a long post for me) LOL
We chatted by email on and off for two months. I actually confused him with someone else I was emailing with, LOL, but once that was straightened out we emailed a few times a day, then talked on the phone (when I finally got the nerve), then we went on our first date January 6, 2006 and have been inseperable ever since.
We were both doing sound for the band and met right there. We got to know eachother better every week at the meetings till he asked me out! Actually the first night we met he told me that on his way home he called his best friend and said "i think i just met my wife"! aww his best friend even told me the story. 6 months later we were engaged!
We met on myspace. I didn't even WANT a myspace account. My younger sister talked me into it after months of sending me requests to join. Once I was on there, I found I knew a lot of people that were on there. Soon, I had tons of friends on there that I had known a long time, and was enjoying getting caught up with them.....I wasn't looking for anything. One day this guy sent me a friend request. I thought, sure why not, you can always use more friends...it took a couple months to even start our conversation. Once we did start talking, it was very casual. After about 5 months we decided to meet. After we met, we couldn't stay away from one another! We lived an hour from each other, but still managed to see eachother several times a week! Before long he was living with me, and on our one year anniversary, he asked me to marry him!
I am living proof that love finds you when you least expect it! I never thought I'd meet someone on myspace!!
Five years later, he saw me on a dating website and asked me if I was that girl from Debert in 2002...I was.
We started talking, and couldn't stop, so we went on a date. The rest is history.
we met in 1998 at the local skating rink (whoop whoop). I was 13 and he was 12, hahaha. We went to the same middle school but didnt know each other because he was a grade below me. We both had pagers/beepers (whatever they call them these days), and we were able to have a whole 20 mintue conversation about them (mine had internet so it was WAY cooler than his!). We became friends at school and started "going out" 4 months later. We have been together ever since! 10.5 years, no lie!
Began chatting, talked on the phone, met in person, began dating right away, got engaged!
We began dating again last year and found out that we actually had more in common that we thought (if we had only given it a chance in the first place). We had discussed marriage while we were dating and I was ready (and I'm not very pushy. So, I never emphasized my intentions), but didn't think he was . Boy, was I wrong? He proposed to me on February 16th of this year. So, here we are....
