{Got Plans for Your Valentine?}

I can't believe that Valentine's Day is right around the corner.

If you & your hunny celebrate this Day, do you have anything planned yet for him? What's the most romantic thing that you've ever done for him, or vice versa?

I honestly haven't planned anything yet, but every year, my Fh insists that he's not celebrating Valentine's Day. Or Christmas, or Thanksgiving, or Birthdays (unless it's his, lol). And EVERY year, he gets me the most thoughtful gifts. He always tries to psych me out. His version of romance from me is for me to get him something for his Wii or XBox, lol. Or give him a full massage... I think he gets the love heebie jeebies when I buy him Steelers stuff, so maybe I'll get him something personalized. Not sure...

I *hate* valentines day... even more so than I don't like christmas or easter and that's really saying something- I see them all as being really pointless holidays. Why should be have a day dedicated to adoring our loved one & showering them in gifts? shouldn't that happen every day?! Also, it makes my single friends (which is most of the people I know) feel absolutely miserable all day! I've begged & pleaded with Chris not to do anything for it but he's insisting upon going out to a restaurant before we head out for the evening with my bridesman to celebrate his birthday.

It's his birthday! Kinda stinks for him. but i always try to make it a day about him. This year i'm taking him on a surprise ski trip.

I think Valentines day is kinda pointless. IDK, I like to show my love for him every day, not just one day a year. our anniversary is in April, so we'd rather save the money and do something really nice for our anniversary. That, and his birthday is one week after Valentines day. He usually gets me flowers or something, but we don't go out of our way to plan anything.

i never been one to "hate" the holiday, i think its nice. I dont however go overboard or forget my fh the rest of the year! i think its just like mothers day or fathers or ect, just a day to remember to LOVE, and not just your man or woman.  It never bothered me when I was single because Ive always been surrounded by people that I love and love me! and thats what i think valentines should be about anyway!

I bought my fh tickets to see his favorite band , and it just happends to be on the 14th. I hate the band but he has never saw them, and it will make him so happy, and thats important to me because he makes happy the other 364 days!

We're going on a double date with one of my BMs to a museum the Saturday before valentine's day.  We're going to get dressed up, and take some pictures of us and stuff.  

Then, us girls are going to use those pics for small valentine's day gifts.  I might buy a walmart frame, and some acid-free cardstock, and cut out the word "LOVE" to make a mat for the pictures.  My BM is doing a slightly different version of this.  But, it's something similar.

I doubt we'll do much more than that.  We might spend some extra time together - we haven't done that in a bit, since we're both so busy, but we won't spend any outrageous amounts of money.

i LOVE valentine's day!  sure, we should celebrate everyday, but this is that one day to be corny & just do something extra special.  i'm a fan of the roses & balloons, but we'll probably just cook dinner together & rent some movies.
