Our Cardbox - <FONT face=ChopinScript>Flourish & Chandelier</FONT> - GRATEFULBRIDE's Blue Wedding by Color Blog

Our cardbox is complete! I shot the vision to Amanda, at Shea Chic Designs on Etsy, & she ran with it. I was inspired by an all square chandelier covered cake, but wanted a variation with square & round boxes. I also wanted to get back to our original colors with the Steel Gray & Tiffany Blue. I decided not to incorporate damask in this, but a damask/flourish feel to the pattern. Crystal baubles are tied in at the top of the box.

One of the greatest compliments came from the designer, when she told me that in making this cardbox, it was "fun & inspiring" & she also told me that she will be making another one similar to this now for her own home & studio:)

Wow...this is gorgeous. I've never seen anything like this as far as the chandelier & beading detail goes! It's really going to be a focal point at the wedding.

Thanks ladies:) There are SO many card boxes to choose from. I didn't think I'd go with a tier, but I wanted a few difft elements & I am really pleased with the way ours turned out. It will definitely add a pop of color to the table:)

Simply Stunning.

An update is that I got my box today. The seller has emailed me the photo a little before I posted it on WBC, but she was unaware of my Wedding Date being moved from 6.27.09 until the day she was supposed to send my box. If our date had remained, this box would have been late! So, if you do convo seller, be proactive with completion date & ensure you get exactly what you want in advance. Because of seller's busy workload, it took about 3mons to get my box! But, I started in advance with my order way in advance for that reason.

On a better note, the cardbox is even MORE awesome in person than I imagined. It is a great size {it looks smaller than it really is}. You can see the quality in the fabric & the chandeliers are beautiful. This has to be one of my fave Etsy purchases!
