Welcome Booklets

For the OOT Boxes

I am in the process of designing & formatting a booklet for my Out Of Town (OOT) gift boxes for our guests at the hotel (see 2/23 blog). I know that I will be including a wedding day timeline, Happenings in the City, Local Hospitals, 24 Hour Stores (especially drug stores), Good Restaraunts, a Map & of course a Welcome Statement at the beginning of it all.

I posted a few pics to share with those of you doing oot boxes, bags or baskets for your guests. Or, even if you're not doing all that, some of you may be interested in having some type of welcome booklet (even if it's a 1 page newsletter, pamphlet or memo) for your guests to receive & welcome them after their travels.

Great idea!  I have been wanting to order things for a welcome bag.  I was just gonna get some white kraft bags & stamp them with pink kisses, & then tie them off with a black ribbon.  But now....I see the wedding timeline & I HAVE to put that somewhere in my mix!  I like the mentioning of doing a pamphlet.  I know I can do that much in Publisher.  Great ideas & inspiration!  Thanks Gbride.

I have seen these timelines and think they are sooooo cute!! Good Luck on this project!

The 4th picture I was wondering if you know how to get graphics like that on your booklets/programs?

Hey Mrs. Klein!  Girl, you know Im bootleg in the graphics department HOWEVER....a friend of a friend has a graphic design thing on the side & has actually been kind enough to lay something out for me, then I need to just type it all up & create the booklet.  I probably wont post the completed project until this summer, but if you like what you see then, let me know &  c about helping you out!!!

Oh thank-you, I am slow in this department also lol... I did learn how to make a monogram so actually I am PROUD of myself!!

side note... I did order photoshop and since I am not working now I am reading the ENTIRE book and maybe I will be able to do these fabulous things myself some day soon!!

BTW I do not know if I have told you but you have impeccable taste, there are a few brides I do not know if I have told this to, but its about time I did!
