Here is a mock up of the floral arrangements that will line the aisle. I threw some other flowers in...

WANTED
Tiffany Blue Delights
Please, please....if you happen to see these shoes anywhere, please let me know. I came across these Tiffany Blue Nine West babies on Google, & I was linked to Belks, but couldn't find them there. I have also searched Nine West (online). Im a little slow these days, so it is highly possible that I overlooked them. I'm not so sure if these are "the wedding day shoes", or if it will be my rehearsal dinner icing for the feet.

Ask a Question
How Did You Find Out About This Site???
Not long after being engaged, I spent countless hours online narrowing down our wedding color palette. In between surveying my ever-so-patient FI, I would type in "wedding colors" in search engines, & eventually, I stumbled upon this site. Like a fish, I've been hooked ever since. How did you find out about WBC?

Damask FYI
Try This Storage Site
I believe that at one point or another, someone was looking for Damask tape on here. Well, I came across it on www.organize.com. I also found other damask goodies, including storage & photo boxes, which I am planning to use for table accents at my wedding party meeting, and then again for my Tears of Joy packets. I thought the little door hanger was cute to hang on the door as the bride gets ready. There is a sale going on now, so if you're a fan of damask, I'd check them out. Just type in "damask" in the search option..

DIY Unmentionables
Tutorial
I found this on another blog from Meghan @ My Cleveland Wedding (she's fab), where the bride actually found the steps from a fellow Knottie Bride, & here we are..thought this might come in handy for any of you who may be interested in designing & creating your own wedding bling undies. Have fun!! BTW, the bride mentioned is very, very talented & now is a seller with etsy.com. Check her out:) Here is her directions. How gracious of her!
You Need: Hotfix flatback rhinestones: I used 10ss but you can go smaller for sure Mylar Paper Wax-tipped rhinestone picker-upper Undies of your choice 1. In MICROSOFT WORD go to "Insert----> WordArt" and use WordArt to type out your text. Use one text box for your soon-to-be last name "Mrs.XXX" and then use a separate text box for your "EST. DATE" if you choose to include this. 2. Use the Word draw tools panel and select 'Rotate or Flip' then choose 'Flip Horizontal.' This will flip your text so it looks like you are looking at a mirror image of the text. Next adjust your text for the font you want (Lucida Handwriting or Calligraphy are nice) and font size. Print them out and through trial and error see what will fit well on the undies you choose. Then print and cut out your text. 3. Next, tape your text down onto your work surface and tape it so it stays in place. 4. Then take your MYLAR paper--peel off the sticky sheet away from the white backing and place the sticky sheet on top of your text--sticky side UP. Tape it down to the table, too, so it stays put. 5. Then just place your rhinestones onto the sticky mylar paper over your text (trace it with the rhinestones). Make sure your rhinestones are SHINY SIDE DOWN and glue side up. You should be looking at the glue side (when you flip it and put on your undies the shiny side will be up). 6. After you're done with the design, place it shiny side up onto your undies. Take a thin cloth or even thin t-shirt and place it over the design/mylar paper. On high heat and NO STEAM place the iron over the design (and cloth) and put pressure. This is melting the glue! Do this until you feel the stones are setting. Then flip the undies over and apply the iron to the back of the undies too. This is IMPORTANT in making sure they set! Cost Break Down 720 hotfix 10SS flatback rhinestones: $10.94 (including shipping--EBAY) [I did not use them all] Mylar Paper: $4.99 (Ebay) Undies: $2.99 from Burlington Coat Factory (Rampage) Total Cost: $18.92 Compare to a pricetag of $32.99 (that is WITH cheapest shipping option) from CustomGlamGirl.com. Also, CustomGlamGirl has restrictions on the amount of letters you can use: 14 characters. Which would have made my little "Established in...." line not possible. |

Ask a Question
Please do me a FAVOR.....
I am trying to narrow down the choice for our wedding favors. My FI is neutral as long as it's edible, & worth eating. Please take a look at the favor options posted, & tell me...if you were a guest, which would you most appreciate. Considering the fact that they ALL taste good! LOL. 1) Tokens of Appreciation (monogram etched hard candies). 2) Tiffany/Aqua Blue Monogram Cookies in cellophane bags with ribbon & hang tag. 3) Monogram Lollipops with ribbon ties & hang tag (these tie in with our jumbo lollipop invites, however the favors would be smaller).

Gorgeous Garters
Awwww Sooky Sooky Now!
Okay, so I was on etsy.com today & found way too many yummy garters! To be honest, I never really sought out for one, & didn't really give much thought to it.....until now.
I did find a beautiful one for $18 a few weeks back @ Victoria's Secret, and it was in Tiff Blue & White. However, I wanted to post this info for any of you who may be looking, or just want to bookmark these vendors for information, or design interests to mimic elsewhere. Let me tell you, if you haven't checked her out already, you should check out Mia Von Mink's garters....that's some R-rated stuff for the wedding night, LOL. Anyway, I did my best to put a description from Etsy, or the actual vendor name, followed by the price, so that way you'd know before you search. I only posted a few (sorry). Good Luck! |

Thank You Cards
DIY, For The Wedding Party Attendants I've now decided to incorporate some of the whole chandelier look into our wedding. It will be in moderation...placecards,some stationery & possibly the menus. The more I thought about it, the easier my decision, because it sorta ties in with the whole elegant, chic & royal feel. We're using Damask, which is used for royalty, & you'll see in a future posts some designs with Crown backdrops for our Tshirts (wed party), which is representing our city of Charlotte...aka..."The Queen City". So, Yes...there is some method to my madness! LOL.
Anyway, I got the pic over there from etsy.com. I forget the vendor, but they go for either $3 or $5 a piece. The cards will be for each member of our wedding help team. That's about 20 people. That's alot of money. So, I placed an order today for a clear rubber stamp (chandelier in the other pic) for $2.99 on www.esticker.com. I already have the cardstock...just have to get envelopes. Total project should be less than 10-15 bucks. That's more like it! :) |

Ask a Question
Please Vote~ I am trying to figure out a beautiful, but simple place card since I'll be making that lush, full flower bed as the foundation for them. I just didn't want the presentation to be too busy. With that being said, pleeeeeeease let me know (out of these designs) which one you like best (please keep in mind that there is no one certain 'theme' to our wedding, although we are using damask in some elements, it will not be in every detail). Thank you!!!! P.S. Imagine the designs being printed in tiffany blue/aqua, with a single diamond-like rhinestone on the upper corner, on white cardstock. The flower bed mentioned is in the post below. |

Bed of Flowers
Place Card Platform I spotted this beautiful DIY project on Martha Stewart's website, & I cant wait to make my own. It is basically flowers of choice clipped & stuck into styrofoam bricks. Since we are using a medley of white flowers (either carnations, hydrangeas or peonies...silk for this project), I will use that, or possibly a bed of red flowers to incorporate the red in our scheme. It's just a little touch to sit the placecards on top of. Downside...I can tell this will be a time consuming project :)...wish me luck! Oh...& I will scatter some diamond confetti on top for a little shimmer. |

Personalize It
Cover Girl Came across this site that is lots of fun. It's a little 80's in a way, but I think they're very cute, & you can make it totally you (and your babycakes). I am thinking of making my next Wedding Newsletter a magazine style, using one of the styles available at the website as the cover. It's free. Just upload your fave photo. It's also cute to add for those of you who may have a wedding website. There are several different magazine styles to choose from. ![]() |
