Today is super exciting--we were finally able to confirm a real, week-long honeymoon, because my fiance's job will allow for a 5 day advance on vacation time! Woohoo! I am super stoked. Michael decided that he wanted to go to Venice a long time ago. I know that it won't be as picturesque as it would be in the Spring--but to be honest, i do not care. In the winter it is supposedly much easier to get around, with fewer crowds, tourists, lines and waits... and the flight/hotel will be less expensive. and it really doesn't matter--michael and i had so much fun in Greece, i'm sure we'll manage somehow, despite the chill.
