Wedding Budget - LOWWWW Budget! - HABISHOP's Black Wedding by Color Blog

So, the budget is roughly $3500 for the WHOLE wedding that includes the dress and everything! It has been rough but I've found some really neat ways to cut costs.

We just bought a house in December so money has been tight. We would rather spend more on the house than spend money on a wedding that is only one day....even though it will be one of the happiest days of my life....I have to think realistically. My fiance has a son so we have to provide for our family.

Like the saying goes....you have to be able to live after your wedding!

You can do it! I've helped plan weddings with less o work with than that and they were still gorgeous!

I wish you the best of luck. Our budget started out at $5K & we ended up spending $19.2K. We did pretty much everything ourselves too. No wedding planner. Only altar arrangements for flowers & my bouquet. It is very expensive to get married these days. Happy planning.

that just means you have to be more creative which makes it more unique anyways :) im sure this site will give you lots of money saving ideas :)

You can do it, get those creative juices working

We were around the same when we first started out. We were just thinking of eloping, but my dad stepped in when he found out, and is paying for the venue, and the caterer. I was so shocked because the man is such a tight wad lol. We're still planning to spend the same amount, but we can splurge on a few more items because of my father's help :)
I know of a good website for DIY decorations at great prices if you're interested :)

definitely possible...you just have to be creative. And i totally agree with you, i would much rather spend the money on my house instead of the wedding!
