New Take On Centerpieces
I had to soften up my centerpieces...so here is the new and improved version. It's still simple & natural, but at least it's not boring anymore.
The low down- the middle vase is from the $1 store. The side vases are $2.95 each from Crate & Barrel. The LED light is $2.50 from 100candles.com. The floating candle is 3 inches wide- lasts 8 hrs- $3 100 candles.com Orchids from Michaels- no one will touch them in the water to know they are not real. Orange clear votives- $3 for 6- I dont remember where Now what to do for table number?? |

OVERPLANNING??? I THINK I HAVE BEEN
WBC Ladies,
I just wanted to share my revalation with you all. I've come to the conclusion that there is such a thing as overplanning when it comes to my wedding. After a long engagement, it's taken its toll and now that I'm 7 months out from the big day, I'm going to breathe. Something is bound to go astray- hopefully its a small something, but it's just ONE day. And as long as I am Mrs. G standing by Mr. G...it will all be okay. So, I just thought I would share that although we are paying for our wedding and I am a DIY Bride, it will be okay. The overplanning is unnecessary. I'm giving myself permission to be human, to be me, not only an engaged soon-to-be- bride...planning every second of every day. Letting go is feeling good. |

I'm a DIY Bride, but I have picked up some really cool jars in the last year or so- good thing about a long engagement.
Do you think 14 jars is enough jars for 120 people??? I'm asking my mom to pick up 2 huge glass bowls for chocolate truffles. |

Creme Flip Flops for late night dancing. Jewelry- pearl studs with a pearl & silver bracelet- initialed for each BM. Creme pashmina to match their BM gown. I'm going to stuff the tote with creme and orange tissue paper. Also- thinking of getting them wine and making a custom label...but have to see if the budget allows. Feedback? Too much? Too little? |
