I hope I'm not addicted to projects.

I actually really need a holiday - a proper holiday - and a break, but I'm only 47 days out from the wedding and don't feel like I can right now.

Anyway, this one only took an hour or so, and it's a cheap easy idea so I thought I'd share. One thing I can say I'm addicted to, is making these adorable chiffon/organza flowers (you would have guessed that already)! In fact, if I don't steady on, my girls may end up looking like vintage tooth fairies. Is that bad thing?

So started with
- 2 pink headbands (slightly too bright), $2 on sale at Spotlight
- See through white ribbon (wrapped around headband to dull the colour

Then the decoration (stuff I already had in my craft box)
- Several circles of chiffon, melted around with the edge of a candle,
- beads/pearls sewn into centre of chiffon flower
- strip of lacey curtain (for a bit of jazz)
- couple of loops of pearls

I sewed all the decoration together first, then when I was happy with it, firmly sewed it into the headband.

DONE! Cute, huh? Hope some of you ladies are inspired to try it for yourself!

I Know what you mean about needing a break. I have a lot of other stuff going on in my life at the moment and it all gets a bit much sometimes and u need some time out.

Do u get a honeymoon before you move?

Hannah! These are so gorgeous! I love them. They are very sweet and pretty and vintagey. Fantastic job!
I am also addicted to projects. I am always thinking about things I could be doing or making or whatever.
You should take a little break for yourself though, even if it is just a day. Everyone needs a break. :) Happy Holidays!

Great job as always!  I feel you on the no time for a break...I have everything almost finished and there are still bits and pieces to tie up at the last minute.  Your wedding is going to be so fabulous and I can't wait to see the pictures!

Hey Natasha.. thank you! Well, yes and no... I will be shifting my possessions to the mainland before the wedding; then coming home. After the honeymoon though, I will go straight to our new home.

Brittany.. thanks heaps! Mmm yes I will take a day off here and there. So many people to visit before I leave the state. But my brain can never take a day off, unfortunately, lol.

Shayla hun.. your day is pretty well here! No wonder you don't feel able to take a break. And I know what you mean about still the odd thing to do. Some things you just can't do until the last minute - so annoying!! How are you feeling though... confident that you will be stress-free on the day?
