candy buffet.

love this idea. neat photo!

Favors..

yeah yeah i know everybodys doin it.

so yeah for our favors we are doing a candy buffet...

its the hottest new thing. i know.

BUT. if you knew me i am a candy addict! i am not doing it for the people i am doing it more for me, i know i probably won't even touch it the day of my wedding because i will be super distracted but candy is kinda something that i am known for...i always have it! i think people would kind of expect me to have something like this offered at my wedding.

i think this one little section is going to be the only section not themed with the color scheme...i mean i am going to do my best to keep it together with fabric and ribbon, but as far as the candy i dont think its all going to be pink and green.

i need to offer variety and sour patch has to be on the buffet! thats me and hubs absolute favorite. sooo wish me luck in pulling it all together. this is going to be the only table thats not perfectly themed but all in all i think people wll thank me....they will thank me for not making them eat another jordan almond!

& plus those things are sort of pricey.

OH almost forgot we are also having bubble wands. they are kind of as a favor/send off kinda thing. i bought them then tied pink and green ribbons on them. They are super cute and i love them.

bridesmaids dresses.

Bridesmaids

still working on the other details....

well i have their dresses picked out and on order...

they should be arriving sometime next month...i still have to pick out their shoes and jewls, but i am waiting on their dresses to come in.

they have to have some minor alterations, i want to take that bubble hem out. the girls and i were not crazy about it and the alteration lady said it would be a piece of cake to take it out.

SOO yeah i will decide on the other details later.
keep ya posted.

and the flower girl dress is going to look similar to my dress.
sorry not posting the dress.
just know that it is beautiful.

(i don't want there to be any way hubs could catch a glimpse before the big day.)

the the theme color is Pink.
with somge green in there
(for the future hubby)

the DECOR includes but is not limited to...
white chair covers with pink sashes.

the table decor is topiaries covered with hot pink daisies and roses, with ribbon and pearls. i will take a pic once i have the finished product...i put a pic of an idea but its not the same shades of color.
i am going to alterante the tall topiary. with a smaller decoration.
that way you dont walk in and be like whoa...it will tone it down a notch.
the other table decoration will be something with candles and pearls and flowers, the same look just on a smaller scale.

everything from the cake table to the favor table will go right along with the pink and green theme.

i have been very picky when it comes to my wedding plans...i mean you only get married once...right? well at least i am only getting married once!

so here it is, the church. its perfect. it took alot of researching on my part because most churches you have to be members of before you can use their church. well it just so happens that this one is a historic museum...

it was built back in the 1800's and was since then fully restored. its absolutly gorgeous inside! it holds about 185 with standing room in the back..so it will be a little tight but i love the idea of everyone packing in like sardines.

another bonus about this church is that it has a beautiful park across the street that will be really neat to take pictures.

Wedding Cake

ok i never knew it was so difficult to decide on a cake! it has taken me longer to decide on this thing than my stinkin dress...

its crazy because in the beginning i said that the cake didnt really matter as long as it looked good. but there are so many cakes to choose from...so many little details go into a cake.

i love love love this one though...there are alot of pearls and girly details in the table decor and this cake just adds to it!
this cake is kinda simple but i think simple is better.

the grooms cake...well i cant tell because its a surprise and i cant post it because if for some reason my fiance reads this i can't ruin it for him...it is AWESOME though. i am really looking forward to eating it. =)

wearing the hair-DO down.

ok so i know one thing is for sure...i am wearing the hair down. my fiance said he likes when i wear my hair down best so i am making it a point to wear it down.

here are a few ideas...

i went to my hair stylist this past week and got a trim and she played with ideas...soo i am ready to go...i think.

i like wavy and a little curl but not too much.

Wedding Flowers

my bouquet and bridesmaids.

Gerber daisies are going to be my main flower, I'm going to incorporate roses and many other flowers but the focal point is going to be the daisies. The reason I am going with the daisies is because they were my grandmothers favorite flower, she passed away last June and I wanted to honor her by having daisies everywhere. She was not only my grandma but my best friend.

Ok.. so my bouquet i am thinking on having hot pink gerbers and white spray roses wrapped together & then for the bridesmaids white gerbers and maybe some smaller hot pink daisies.

I have already talked to my florist and she loves the ideas...i still have to confirm that this is what i want....but i think i am purrrty much sold on it.
