It's been a year and 4 months since I said "i do" to my best friend!
I got on here just to peak at my friends blog, she is getting married in june!! when i got on and started to peak around i relized i never posted any pictures of the wedding! ... so why not!!! here's a fewry!!! Soooo I love my wedding dress still!!!! YAY:)
All the worrying about not being able to fit in my wedding dress anymore and all the doubts I was having on weather or not it was the right dress... I finally went and tried it on for the first time since I bought it almost a year ago and I love it even more now!!! :) So excited, can't wait!!!

Okay.. soo I am officially starting to PANIC!!!!
Ahhhhhh... I am freaking out.. in panic mode!! We are getting married in 73 days and I don't have anything done....
I don't know what to do... or where to start! I don't have a cake... I don't have linens and chairs... I don't have flowers or any decorations!!!! I haven't ordered invitations.. think i will be making a trip to Michaels to pick up DIY invitations... I think they had damask.. I don't have the ceremony music... and I am sure the list goes on.. just can't think of what else I need to do! FH is about to leave for a month and a half and won't be home until the monday before our wedding... sooo he won't be of any help! Have to make sure we get his tux ordered... My dress... ahh I am still scared to try it on.. but I know I need to.... I gained weight since I purchased it.. probally about 12 lbs or more.. what if I can't fit in it... I can't seem to get motivated to go to the gym and eat healthy and I don't know why.. I have never had a problem losing weight before!!! ahhh!! all the stresses is what it is... I just want to eat when I am stressed! Anyhow.. here is a checklist of what I do have.. wedding dress bridesmaids dresses.. shit I still need to get my flower girl dress! dj... haven't picked out music yet... asked FH to do that one thing... but does he do it! CAKE TASTING-TOO MANY FLAVORS!!
What Cake Flavors are you ladies choosing?
So last night was our cake testing!!! I never really relized how many flavors there were to choose from.. it's crazy!!! I can never make up my mind! I have the hardest time making decisions for the wedding day!
It was really kewl how she did the tasting... she had the mouse filings on one plate.. with several flavors and then FH and I both had a plate of different flavor cakes... We both agreed that we wanted red velvet cake with the cheescake mouse filling.. YUMMMM! So that would be one layer.. then we didn't agree on the others... I picked amereto cake with white chocolate filling.. which he liked.. he picked canoli cake.. which was amazing.... but then he picked the dark chocolate fudge filling to go with it... I personally thought the fudge ruined it... and I love chocolate!!! I just thought it was too much! do we even want cake or do we want to go with the cheescake! I am unsure of the design I want.. AHH! decisions, decisons... I really was happy with both the cake lady and the cheescake lady! They were both great!! We shall see! What cake flavors are you ladies choosing??? mmmm... I could deff. go for another tasting! :) |

MENUE SET!!!!
So last Friday we met at our venue and had a food tasting!! WOW!! Talk about AMAZING!!! :) We set our menue and we are very excited!
I think our guest should be very happy with our choices! Good food, good drinks and lots of fun! Can't wait!! :) We will be having.... Four hours open bar! Cocktail Hour- decorated display of grilled vegetable crudites w/ dip Fruit display w/ yogurt dip Imported and domestic cheese w/ fresh grapes and water crackers Hot Hors d'ouevers- bacon wrapped scallops Steamed Asparugus & Gruyere cheese in a puff pastry tenderloin on toast Starter- caesar or house salad Main Dish Duet- Filet Mignon & Jumbo Shrimp Scampi served with rice and asparagus or Mahi Mahi dish |

What is ONE thing you are MOST EXCITED about in your wedding... the one gotta have factor??
All of us brides have been putting soo much time into planning!! I feel like it is all i do... I go to bed thinking about it, I dream about it, and I roll out of bed and jump on the computer!! I do research after research!! All day long!!!.. Friday's are the best.. I don't work and FH is normally not home.. this Friday I was on the computer for like 5 hours straight!! It is consuming my life! :)
I was just curious as to what is everyones one thing in their wedding they are most excited about? The one thing you just have to have can't live without.. As crazy as it sounds I think I am most excited about having my 36" sparklers... that was my very first purchase and I searched for a venue that would allow them!! Can't wait to see how amazing the pictures turn out!! :) |

Is it necissary to have a REHEARSAL DINNER????
Okay, soo the wedding is expensive enough alone as it is...
we are paying for everything out of our pocket.. and I see the rehearsal dinner as just another added expense... Is it neccisary to have a rehearsal dinner after the actual rehearsal? My wedding coordinator says we do need to have a rehearsal dinner of some sort.. if we don't it's kind of tacky!! I don't know... if it is necissary, than what are some cheap alternatives? I would be looking for the cheapest most simple thing!! Maybe I will buy some pizza hut pastas, put them in a nicer dish and have some drinks back at my house!! I don't know.. Any cheap ideas ladies? thanx!!! :) |

Soo I have been hooked on the new show hitch or ditched!! It's really crazy!! I love it tho..
I mean how sad to be with someone for years and be put to the test and be presented with an amazing dream wedding and than not going through with it!!! gawsh!! it's crazy and sad!! I wonder if it's staged?? it's gotta be.. how can you be with someone for so long and walk down the aisle and it is amazingly beautiful and decide you aren't going to get married! I haven't watched last weeks episode!! but I have it on the DVR and I will be watching it soon! :) |

How long will your RECEPTION last?
As of right now.. the package deal we got at my venue where the ceremony and reception is... the ceremony is from 5-5:30.. very short and sweet! ready to party! :)
5:30-6:30 is the cocktail hour!! than 6:30-9:30 is the reception-eating, partying, dancing, and drinking!!!! Is that long enough!!! Really it is only 3 hours of dancing and doing all the traditional wedding stuff.. cake, dances and so on!! I feel like maybe it wont be enough time!! How long will your reception last???? thanx ladies!! :) Everyones input is appreciated! |
