we've been married for a month!!!

Well, it still feels great being married and weird at times to hear people call me by my married name or call mariano my husband. But it's wonderful. Yestuday made 3 years we have been together, time flies!
I just wanted ot show pictures I have been on checking in readying blogs on my blackberry but for some reason I can't comment, unfortunately until today my computer was down becaue we bought a house!! we have been moving. it's great, we are married have a house, all thats left is a baby, which we have been really workin on since the wedding.. lol I hope you all enjoy the photos I'll post the pro shots when ever I get them. |

We DID IT!!!
I'm now Mrs. Tolentino!!!
Our day was nice... Here in CT it has been nothing but rain this summer but I was lucky my day was beautiful and sunny! Perfect for an outside wedding.
It was a stressful day my bridesaids (all except my sister were late) the hall I was supposed ot be in there early and ended up not being able to get in until 10 am. a few things were forgotten at my ceremony like the aisle runner and they didn't put very much tulle. The officiant was not the geatest, but hey she made it leagal... lol... At the reeption the hall was BEAUTIFUL that went well but the DJ lost our song, so right there while everyone was waiting to see us dance we had to pick a new song. So our song is now Selena's Dreaming of you. We got so into dancing that we forgot the garter and bouquet toss.. lol But the day was great after all the little things, I am now a wife, that still sounds funny.. hahaha... everyone had a great time, my daughter I think had the best time she got to look like a princess an still run around with her friends, not to mention the photographer had a certain time to go around and follow her and take pics of her, she is defenately an attention getter... It was a crazy week with people droping out of the wedding 4 days before, btw his nephew never came :( but at the end of the day Mariano has finally figured out his nephew is not as great as he thought he was. I will pot more pics when I get them. Happy planning to all and Enjoy the ride because for most of us it's a roller coaster!! |

Bridal Party Drama and 4 days left!
OMG I'm freaking out....
So yesturday the Bestman, my fiancees nephew and the only close family he has here in the US came to give the money so I could pick up his tux with his girlfriend, who is a bridesmaid. We have been searching for a person to alter her dress and I finally found one.. YAY!!! well I tell her and do you know what she says? "oh no I don't need one I bought another dress" WHAT!! EXCUSE ME? So I freaked out and told her she needs to bring the dress so Ic an see if becuase if it's not the same color she can't use it. She assures me it is and goes home to get it... so she brings it in.. AND IT WASN'T THE SAME COLOR!! ARE YOU F'IN KIDDING ME? I mean was she going to wait until the day of my wedding to tell me she never said she didnt like her dress she never said anyting to me about going out to find another we went to DB together she tried on EVERY dress that came in pool blue and she choose the one there now she wants to change it? So I say I'm sorry but it's not the color, so she says thanks for everything I won't be at the wedding... WHAT? fine ok. Well here's the kicker, his nephew the BESTMAN then asks for his money back because if she can't go he won't be there.... Hello I never said she can't go she just can't be in the wedding!! So now FH is heartbroken his best friend, who is like a brother to him, more the a nephew wo't even be in the audiance never mind standing next to him. He wanted to call the wedding off. WHAT DO I DO? Am I being a B1tch or a bridezilla? I mean come on All I asked was the same color not even the same length they could have had tea or full...
Please be honest with me am I out of line??? Oh sorry if there are spelling mistakes I couldn't keep up with my rambling head... lol |

DIY Wedding
few of the DIYs I have finnished...
The baskets I found at walmart after easter and I paid $1.50 for them all I did was take the green lining off of them and wrap the handle and top with the ribbon... I am going to use these for handing out programs and the confetti to toss
The candle holders were $1 at dollar tree I bought 21 of them, just incase I broke 1... lol... but I think the ribbon just dresses them up a little more. 16 More days to go!!!! |

2nd trial today...
I'm REALLY excited.. I ahve my 2nd make up trial today... she's going to do the new look that I want, she's bringing 3 different types of eyelashes for me to try, hopefully they are comfortable, i've heard many people who love them and others that absolutely hate them. I will post pictures after.

20 Days left....
It's getting SO close... Just a few little things to do....
Well my countdown is off it says 19 but it's really 20... idk... I'm really excited we just have a few more payments to make and just a couple more DIY things to do and then we're done. YAY!!! I'm sure I will be working up until the day of just because I am a procrastinator, but that's ok... lol...
I'm sure as most of you know I have had a lot of bad things going on between my mother's husband and my lil sister BUT everyone has said to keep the date and everything will work out. Plus if we had to change I never thought about all the money that would go down the drain becuse of all of the personalization we have paid for. I'm really excited this lasy weekend went well so hopefully it continues to be smooth sailing from now till then... |

We might have to postpone the wedding.... kinda late in the game no? Plane tickets have ben purchased by some guests and they have asked for vacation time... BUT my mother's husband is VERY sick not to mention my sister's recent attempt with suicide(a couple blgs down)... It may not be a good time...
But here is my delema.. DO I wait until September of this year? OR do I wait until 2010? I'm really sad I have been crying all morning... I want to get married SO bad! But I don't want to seem selfish or not have my mother there... Any advice? |

My sister..
VERY sad... and worrisome situation....
My younger sister who is a bm was out of touch for a couple wks which is not like her... I know she had been having a tough time where she lives and things weren't goin well.. BUT what I just found out has completely devestated and shocked me...
she had been backeracted for trying to kill herself twice! this is NUTS!! not my sister i feel like I don't even know her... I'm so sad and worried I want to go c her BUT i can't i can't take time off work we're in June the wedding is 44 days away and I have asked for LOTS of time off in July for preperation... I feel like calling off the wedding but I cant do that either, many people in my family has purchased plane tickets already.. this is just crazy... I feel awful like I shud have been there and seen the signs.. but I SWEAR there weren't any that I could c from here (we live in seperate states)... I feel like I failed her! I don't even want to continue with the wedding at this point... She's not sure if she will feel up to even being there.. I don't know if i cud even get married if shes not there... my day would be good cuz I'm marrying Mariano but it wo't b complete w/o my sister.... I guess we'll have to see how I feel in the next couple weeks.... thanks for listening just had to let it out! @@@@@@@UPDATE@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ I can't go c her... she is admitting herself for more help tomorrow am SO I will go next week it's a week program and they are going to change her meds and see how she does... *fingers crossed* I hope she is ok in there... thanks for listening |
