This is heatherjames's Pink Wedding!

I like these ones but am still looking... The first and second would tie in the damask theme (but in black) but the 3rd one I love. I really am in love with those flowers.

I found a couple that I like. I really love Bari Jay. I might have my maid of honor in pink and the rest in black, but I want to see what it looks like first. I found all these dresses for about $140, give or take $20.

I want feathers and flowers. I think half the tables will be with flowers and the other half with feathers. More pics to come, I need to do some research!! So I talked to my hubby and he laughed his ass off when I showed him this. So what I am thinking is having flowers with feathers on the bottom of the arrangement and then maybe have these on the cake table or some other table. I NEED AT LEAST ONE!!

So with starting over I found some new invites that I really like. I want one that is black with some pink. I really like the first two, except the first one with a pink bow. I really love the second one.

So after looking at other blogs and other websites I am changing everything. I liked the whole pink and brown but its to plain for me. So now I am going with black, shades of pink, blue, and accents of gold. I fell in love with feathers so they will be involved too. Oh and the damask pattern... love love love. I have over a year so who knows if it will stay like this.

So at first I wanted my hair down or half up and now i am thinking all up. I love the first picture with the braids. I want the dress too but that will come later. I don't want a tiara. I love headbands, wear them all the time.

I can't find a song that is perfect for me and my dad. I love him so much and he is helping us a lot with the wedding. I just want it to be perfect and fit us. So please give me ideas!!!



So I have been looking around and it seems like its all country. Which I would be ok with but my dad is soooo not a country music person. Maybe I can find some 70s song that works.

I am so not a traditional person and do not want any classical music (although I do love it and think is's really pretty, just not for me). I was having a hard time finding anything so then I started looking on her and djs websites and now I have found to many songs that I want. But there are a few that I am definite on. I LOVE ELVIS so he will for sure be a part of the wedding.

1. FAMILY AND PARENTS: Somewhere over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.... I went to Hawaii along time ago and I heard the song and video playing everywhere I went. Fast forward to now and it is so popular. I love the song and the guys voice is amazing! I went to Hawaii with my whole family so I think it is appropriate. It reminds of all the memories of being there with them.

2. BRIDESMAIDS/FLOWER GIRLS/RING BEARER: Love Me Tender the Norah Jones version. Her voice is so pretty and I love it. I saw it on somesone blog so thanks!

3. ME the BRIDE: Kissing You by Desiree also from Romeo and Juliet. I also saw this song on someones blog so thanks again. I had totally forgot this song until I saw it. I LOVED this song in the movie, the whole soundtrack is one of my favs.

4. THE RECESSIONAL: Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden. I want it to start playing when we do our kiss and while the pastor introduces us! I love it and its a perfect wedding song. Sums everything up nicely.

5. RECEPTION INTRODUCTION: Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. I want something fun, I'll have to ask the man but I think he will love the idea since he loves rocky, but I will let him decide it.

6. FIRST DANCE: Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis. This has been our song from the very beginning. I always told him it is so perfect for us. Fools rush in and that was so us. Our relationship happened so fast but so perfect at the same time. We are getting Fools Rush In engraved into our wedding bands. It was his idea, I was so proud of him for thinking of it! We play the song for our baby when she goes to sleep.

We are going to have a reception at the Bard Mansion in Port Hueneme. It is on a base and for military people to use. It is really nice and very very affordable. They have a gazebo to use for the ceremony that we might use. I keep going back and forth between a church and outside.

I need to go back and take pictures so I can remember what it looks like.

Sarah (My other older sister 25, we are 11 months apart and very close)

There might be two of my other friends I just haven't decided how big I want the party to be.

We had been looking at rings for awhile and then randomly one day we went into a jewelry store and I saw this ring. I fell in love with it and knew that one day it would be mine! It had been specialy made for somone and they never picked it up, so I think that it was meant for me!

My Husband is in the Navy and stationed at Point Mugu. We are already married but never got a wedding, so we decided that this is the year to do it. We have a beautiful 8 month old daughter Scarlett and are very happy that she will be a part of the wedding. It has been a difficult decision to decide to have the wedding but I feel that I deserve..I mean we deserve it so we are just going to do it despite what people say! We aren't exactly sure the date but hopefully it will be in September to November, just have to see when he will have to go on the boat.
