Hey guys! Today was the day of tables! Ha ha. I've already purchased black and white polka dot napkins and hot pink forks, but today I began the end of the table decor search. I went to a nearby town and checked out a rental place and found a buy 2 get one free on party supplies sale! SOOO, I ended up buying over 200 cake plates and over 200 dinner plates (hot pink, paper, party plates) for $34! Perfect. (PS-I live in a small town area and my $7000 budget is going to get me an amazing wedding). I've also done some more searching and plan to do black table clothes with hot pink table runners. We are also probably going to have either black chair covers with hot pink sashes or rent black folding chairs with hot pink sashes, not sure which yet. (Renting chairs would be about $2 each chair than getting covers, but we could OWN the covers and sell them after the wedding). The plates are pink, napkins are black with white polka dots, and forks are pink.
Basically, I need some help:
Should I rent the cheaper chairs and forget about covers or pay more now to buy chair covers and sell them later to make up some of the loss?
Will this look ok?
