So I've been making tentative plans for my wedding for years, and when it finally came down to picking colors I had a lot of trouble. I went through aqua and red, pink and royal blue, pink and navy, pink and gray, aqua and gray, and now pink with black and white polka dots.
I'm starting to wonder if that was the wrong choice...I always wanted a polka dot wedding (black and white polka dots of course). Over the past few years being in other's weddings I've decided no pink (too girly on boys), no black (too "normal"), and no solid black bridesmaid dresses. 2 of those three "no" things are for sure happening right now, and one is most likely happening.
Hot pink HAS to stay...no getting around that, I have 21 pairs of pink flip flops, pink plates, pink forks, lots of pink ribbon, and pink candy bar wrappers. Black may be something I can get rid of without too much trouble...I THINK the only black things I have are napkins and lots of ribbon.....
I hate to even mention the thought of wanting to change the color to my mom though....I'm afraid she'll get mad.....but I guess if anything she'll just say no and we can move on. I'll still be happy with black/pink but I think I'd like something else better.....
Any advice?
