Maid of Honor

We have a lot of people coming to ur rehearsal dinner. I think about 65, but Tony's family is very BIG and we have 7 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen. Its like two big functions!

I have now switched all my colors and ideas around.....
Everyone around me must think I am CRAZY....

I saw this on someone else's page - and I like it. THe place where I am having my wedding includes the wedding cake - they have pictures of over 250 of them - or I could just bring a picture and they would duplicate it for me.

So here is my ring!! LALALALALAAAAAAAAAAA!!! I absolutely love it!!!!!
The diamond actually sits up from the halo - not what I was thinking originally - but glad because it makes it so unique!

I am going to buy one for all my bridesmaids and flower girls for pics

I finally bought my dress. I love it. Its very pretty. Infact its sitting in my closet! those aren't pics of me wearing it - I found those on David's bridal website and thought they showed the dress better

We decided to use Sunset Gardens because its simply beautiful and easy! The place provided simplicity and beauty for 150 people!

We are having a cocktail hour prior to ceremony. We live in Las Vegas, and as you can imagine August is VERY HOT. With that in mind the coctail reception and after ceremony reception are inside. BUT the ceremony is outsie right at dusk (7pm) for about 20-30 minutes. We decided to have the cocktail party so we can have all of our guest here and sat so it can happen very efficiently.

The cocktail reception will have a few appetizers with OPEN bar with a LIVE JAZZ BAnd.
The ceremony is outside in a Gaxebo right at dusk where all the trees are lit up with lights.
The recption hall looks like a wedding hall. Its buffet style (and set up correctly for it) LArge dance floor and 4 1/2 hours of OPEN BAR!
The price was the best in Las Vegas not counting one of the top good looking places.
The place is absolutley beautiful, and really do everything for you. YEAH!!!

They have the cake - and over 250 cakes to choose from, of course they have all the linens already (you can upgrade- which I think we are going to stick with what they have because it fits my color scheme). They have the DJ and photographer (the pics can be upgraded as well).

SO YEAH. Worry free.

Last night, Raegan and I came home from school, and notice some rose petals outside the front door. Raegan looked at me -and said "tony is gonna have some clothes on, right?" I laughed at her and said "Tony knew you were driving us home, but just in case lets ring the door bell" Tony open's the door(yes, he had clothes on : ) -
and through the front door, immediately all you saw were a few dozen or more candles lit, music playing - "Amazing" by Josh Kelley, and a HUGE trail of rose petals.... Raegan looked at me and said"I think I am gonna leave and go get a beer" my first reaction was like "but you can...." she was gone.... tony was there walking me from the door.... we walked in, there were rose petals and small little candles all throughout the main living area to the kitchen and TV room... absolutely stunning, no..... beautiful, no...... just amazing...... Tony had the kitchen table with more tall candles, he pulled out my chair and asked me to have a seat and he began to get on one knee.... I started feeling really wierd, but good wierd, I think I immediately started trembling(surprised me~ cause I knew this was going to happen, I just didn't think I was going to get all soft...)... I felt tears welling up as he was telling me how much he loved me and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.... oh and a little more soft words..... : ) Tony then said " Will you marry me?" and I was feeling like I was going to start crying,and just said "YES"
He reached for my hand and it was shaking, no....... trembling (I knew it was coming,but I was trembling all over....) and he put the ring on my hand.... it felt soooooooo good, the love was all around us and all we could do was stand up and kiss each other and hug, kiss more and hug.... It was absolutely wonderful....
OK.... so I was so amazed at how beautiful my ring is (sorry I was impressed! This ring ~ I am going to wear for the rest of my life is BE-U-TI-FUUUUUL! . We had an amazing dinner by candlelight.(be surprised- but that was the bessssst damn MAN-Spaghetti ~ I have ever had).

SO.... WE are officially ENGAGED!!!!! < YeahhhhhHHH!!!> < Woooooo-Hooooo>
