Wedding Cake
i think i picked it out!
so a lot has happened since the last time i have been on!!!! i think i finally picked out my cake...
except im adding one of tier to it and the top part is going to be a heart ... im also making my card box that kinda matches my cake the shape anyway haha what do you think about me having strawberry cake i know tradition is white and all but ever since i was little i havent been a big fan of cake... but i love strawberry cake is that ok to do that?? |

Wedding Photography
I have finally made my decision... :)
after searching and searching Jerrod and i finally made the decision on who we are using for our photographer. For our engagement pictures we are using Perez Photography... go look them up they are amazing!!! we are having our engagement pix in a few weeks and i am so soo excited!!!!! their work is phenominal and unique!! as for my bridal and wedding day photographer. we are using george and diane moreno. They go to my church and i love how flexable they are and are open to any idea. they dont limit us to a certain about of hours and places for bridal pictures! this is a topic of the wedding that i have been stressing over and ow that we have it official i am a little less stress free!!
Now it comes down to what do i wear for my engagement pictures haha ?? :) |

Wedding Cake
Finding the Perfect Cake...
How do you do that? I have been searching and searching for creative ideas! I have been looking for the perfect wedding cake... Since i am all about the Pink... i want pink to be incorporated into my cake. Whether that be pink icing or pink flowers some how i want pink on my cake! A lady at my church named Wendy Anderson is making my cake. She is so awesome. I just have to bring her a picture of the cake and she can pretty much do anything! Here are a few ideas that i like so far but im not done searching yet. Let me know what you think out of these and if you know of a place that has some cool and creative cakes, please send me the site!!!

So somehow i have 3 garters. I have a white one that looks just like this one, a blue one and then i found this awesome HOT PINK one at this store that i totally feel in love with. I need to take a pix of it to show you all!! and it wasnt expensive at all!!! It looks like this white one but it pink! So the question is... is how many should i wear and which colors?? :) Let me know what ya think!!

I wanna grow old with You!
 So i was thinking today! Jerrod likes to always send me this song on my phone to listen to if im having a rough day! i was excited about playing on this website and adding new things and thinking about all the things that i need to do but havent done. school is overwhelming right now and work and then i saw this quote. I just kind of stopped and thought for a minute. This is for all of you girls that are just a little overwhelmed right now. You have a ton on your plate and just dont knwo if your making all the right choices for your special day, but i know for me the one thing i know is at the end of the day it doesnt matter what the cake looked like, how fancy the reception was, or even what the gorgous dress looked like... all that matters is the person standing at the end of the aisle just staring back at you with so much love in his eyes. That is the person you are going to spend the rest of you life with. The one who wants to care for you and love you with everything that he has... So this quote reminds me, that no matter how crazy things are getting or how overwhelmed you may be feeling. At the end of the day take a break and just look at your fiance and remember to have some fun! Go do something that you both love to do and remember that is the person you are going to grow old with! I know i cant wait to start my life with Jerrod and as years pass grow old with him! :) |

After searching and searching i am so excited to have found my wedding dress! I had originally liked a dress from alfred angelo and i was certain that that was the dress, but then a friend of mine told me about a place in Hurst to go check out called Elizabeths Bridal. So me my mom and my future mother in law took a day and headed to go find my dress. We went to hurst and i started trying on dresses. As soon as i tried on this dress the first thing out of my mouth was, i feel like cinderella. It was so beautiful. It actually looks completly different and more poofy on me. After we left we decided to go try on my other dress from alfred angelo. when we got there my future sis my MOH and other best friend all meet us there. after i put on that dress we all just looked at each other and was like, Nope its the other dress. I have always wondered how you just knew that that was the dress you are suppose to wear on the biggest day of my life! But man once i put on that dress i just knew it fit perfectly and i think two i knew because as soon as i walked out my mom and jerrods mom both started crying it was so funny but cute at the same time!

Its all about the Pink!
Our wedding colors are Fuschia silver and white!
At my bridesmaids party i let the girls choose from 6 different styles and i told them that majority would win! Because they are buying the dress and it would be worn on their body i thought it would be nice for them to get to pick what they like! Out of the 10 girls all but 2 picked this style as their fav choose! As for the second Pix i took my junior bridesmaids out for lunch and to go shopping for their dress. they tried on this dress and loved it! I am having both of the dresses specially made by a place called Iris Bridal in gp. Shes doing them for way cheaper! On the jr. b's dress its going to have a pink bow instead of it all being silver!!! what do yall think! I havent picked out my flower girl dresses yet.. thats my next task!! |

My special Bridesmaids party
I decided to do something special for my bridesmaids! I have 10 Bridesmaids, 2 junior bridesmaids and 2 flower girls!
For my bridesmaids, my mom and i made all the girls flower pots and decorated them. we put flower packages, soil, gloves and such in the pot! i made them all a card that pretty much said over the next twelve months as mine and jerrods relationship grows, that i wanted them to grow along with us! I invited all the girls over and had a special cake made for them. we had meat and fruit trays desert and punch as well. we played this charm game where they drew a charm for your charm bracelet, each charm was different and ment something something differet. the girls enjoyed it. i let them pick out their dress and we talked about details and such. it was a lot of fun and im glad i did something different! |
