New Color added to our wedding scheme
Well, people I have decided to add one last color...lime green....the turquoise will only be used as a hint...but main colors will be chocolate, ivory and lime green.

I need help....yes I am a superwoman-but even superwomen need help sometimes...(smile) I am doing my planning alone and I need some help finding an affordable wedding officiant and a great place for flowers and another for alterations for my dress, pls. Wedding Reception
Last color chosen!!
Well, I did it...well my teenager & I did it-we finally chose the last color..... turquoise. I am sooo....excited & my baby girl is also! I would love to have the bouquet pictured and hopefully I can find someone to make it for me.

DIY Wedding
Yay! I was finally able to find this sculpture that I had been looking for. It will be placed on the table with the wishing tree. Instead of the traditional guestbook we will use the tree along with tags and I am totally in love with that idea. I think this statue will add a nice touch.

Wedding Budget
Our budget is small ($5000) and I have taken the bull by the horns planning away. So, we had to choose from 2 super venues. One has a beautiful gardens, flowers & statues on every side of it..and a building where we could use the upstairs room and a room downstairs for the entire day for less than $500. We would have to rent tables and chairs. Initially I thought this was perfect, located in historic Ghent in Norfolk, but quicky realized that parking would definitely be a problem as well as a few other things, We have decided to go with venue #2 which is a center with a gigantic room that was once 2 rooms. All chairs and tables are on location and the venue coordinator will be setting them up and putting them away. The price for this one is $700. We will do everything in this one room minimizing the stress on ourselves and guests. Since our guest count is 100 and this room has the capacity to hold 200., I think that this is definitely doable. I am really enjoying planning.

Hello...
I just wanted to say hello, I found this site while poking around late at night trying to plan our wedding. I am not using a planner, so I am working on everything myself. Wow, this is fun, yet tedious. I am looking forward to this experience and meeting other brides and exchanging ideas.
