Ask a Question
Does anyone else have exams and school??
I am so mentally and physically exhausted from this.... i feel like I am way too old to be doing thing, then again I have been in school consistently for the last...years I am 26 now and I am sick of studying I just wanna start this career already- see post above for inspiration. No I am not a perpetual student, I am just trying to get somewhere.
SO anyway you might have seen the women in Africa carrying earthen bowls full of water from the river to their homes, and how they balance everything just right....my Mom was telling me that if I stopped concentrating now, it would be like I was dropping the calabash just as you are about to get home....

I feel you........I am 24 and have been in school for too many years.  I am just about done with my BA, and then I'm taking a break for the wedding plans and honeymoon, and then will return yet again to school for my Master's.  It is definately overwhelming, but keep at it and the result will be great!

I am sick of school and ALMOST done - for now. I have been in for four years, but only getting my Associates In Nursing! But at least my pay will be the same as all RN's! Ahhh I am going crazy tho - trying to plan and finish my grad project! yuck. I feel your pain - it's all about balance.

Oh girl, do I feel your pain:)...I teach 4th & 5th grade, & am also a full time medical student dealing with the homework, exams & beginning an externship on Monday (graduating in June...whoo hooo).  Let alone..grading papers, planning our wedding, serving on 2 ministries at my church, and have recently committed to decorating & planning 4 different events for other people over the course of the next 3 weeks.  Busy, busy.  In the midst of all that, I am Babygirl to my Fiance & give 110% to keeping our relationship balanced & happy.  And then, as you kno...the biggest thing is the WEDDING!  I am online, checking things & to honest, it's one of the few things that really captures my interest these days.  I am addicted & intrigued with wedding plans.  Thank goodness for prayer & balance, because I too sometimes feel like dropping the calabash!  Hang in there.

Yes! I'm in my second year of law school. I have 3 finals coming up.  I also work full time as a paralegal.

Its not easy but it can be done.

Absolutely, I am starting grad school in July.  It's stressful, but it's worth it!

Yeah I am in my masters now to become a counselor. After we marry in August we are trying for kids and I might be staying home for a while and perhaps do some premarital/marriage counseling or something on the side. I have been all about my career. but yet staying at home with my children until they go to school seems to be the right thing to do. I am so over school and I have yet to do finish one class and over 1,000 hours of practicum!

Wow I feel so much better listening to all of you inspiring ladies..who needs red bull!?!Marta - i am at law school too!! I am in my final year now...Yeah Becca- I use my wedding planning as a distraction right now. dd977 with exam stress etc I think I could use some pre-marital counselling. And lastly....gratefulbride, I am ashamed of myself just reading your comment. I am going to curl up in shame...and read this textbook..(while watching the wedding channel) aka multi-tasking.
