Wow it's been forever! I recently received a msg from a fellow bride which has brought me here! It's been a little over a year since we got married and its been the best year of my life! We moved into our home last November and in October we found out we are expecting our first child and it's a BOY! My due date is July 1st (5 weeks and 2 days to go!) We have been very blessed and continue to praise God for everything! I sure miss this site and I hope everyone is enjoying themselves and live in every moment because it goes by too fast! wow, i must say it has been way to long! unfortunatly, WBC was not in working mode when it was the last few weeks of my wedding and i was never able to say goodbye or leave my last updates.
so today i thought, lets give it a try and that's exactly what i'm doing. i first would like to welcome all the new brides. WBC was a big blessing in my life. I made so many wonderful new friends and still to this day we keep in touch. I even found my other half on this site lol... my now best friend and sister Christy <3 this website will forever be in my memoires of when i planned my wedding and i will forever be thankful! Shout out to my main girls, Christy,Diana, Kayla, Chica, Janette, Elisabeth, Malory, Crystal, Unique, Misha, Rivevearia, Amanda, and the rest of WBC <3 My wedding day... wow. As many of you know, we had our ups and downs through this planning but God came through like he always has! Our day was PERFECT! everything went perfect and i wish i could live it all over again! I will come back and post all my venders info for all my Toronto girls! wow, it's been almost 2 months since i've blogged, but WBC needs to step its game up lol
i miss blogging so much and my days are now numbered! 19 days to go and I am so excited! I love that WBC fixed the countdown on our pages to match the correct days lol. I cannot believe how close our wedding day is and we are soooo excited! A lot has happened... we've received all our RSVP's except for one (but there is always that one) and the bomboniere's are all done with their stickers and all. FHubby and I have made up with his parents and they will be attending the wedding. God is always on time. My mom has bought her dress (i'll post pictures soon) i have my last fitting on the 24th (a week before) and FHubby and i started our no more sex rule on April 5th and its been hard but we always think of God and then we're ok LOL We have met & paid the DJ on friday and it was a very exciting meeting and it made us that much more excited! The bridal party came up with the idea of wanting to do a dance interuption during our first dance which is very exciting! we've been practicing :) family start flying in next week on the 26th and i'm sure it will start hitting me for real when they do lol. All thats left to do is meet with the rest of the vendors, pay them and i also have to print out my seating cards once i've arranged the correct seating for all once we meet with the hall! hey ladies.. soo at 49 days to go we have been super busy...
this past week/weekend, we have done: - bought my parents gift - ordered thank you stickers for our bombonieres - bought the ribbon for the bombonieres - wrapped the ribbons on the bombonieres - ordered my MOH shirt for the morning of the wedding - went to my first dress fitting for my reception dress - bought suits for the groom and grooms men so much done and so much still to do! I will keep posting ladies! My hubby to be looks so handsome in his suit... don't mind the shoes and shirt lol! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ God bless* xox |

i know i haven't been around, but i've been busy and with the website on and off, kind of makes me stay away lol.
but we have all the gifts done and here are my girls gifts! -silver clutch (they can use on the wedding day because it matches their shoes) -Victoria Secret spray and lotion -Guess clutch (replaced) -monogram makeup case (which i filled with their day of emergency kit) -bridesmaid shirt for my MOH i got her all the same plus a bottle of Hypnotic -her fav alcoholic beverage ha!) The boys have -personalized license plates straight from Portugal -FCUK cologne -Guess wallet the Best Man also gets a bottle of Jack Daniels (his fav) & because the best man and MOH are married to one and other, we have added a gift card for dinner at the CN Tower restaurant where FHubby and I got engaged :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ God bless* xox |

so i'm a few days late, but here it is... my usual monthly to do list:
March: 1. Write up readings for the girls 2. Buy parents gift 3. Go dress shopping with mom 4. Buy reception shoes - flats 5. Call florist to set appointment to finalize church pieces 6. Wrap bombonieres 7. Email cinematographer to book final meeting in April 8. Attend hair trial (Saturday March 3rd @9AM) 9. Attend makeup trail (Saturday March 3rd @ 12) 10. Shop for honeymoon 11. Write speeches 12. Write must take pictures shots list for photographer 13. Finalize day of timeline 14. Send Glenda (DOC) day of schedule 15. Drop marriage license at church 16. Wedding Hair Style

So this past Saturday i had my hair & makeup trial and I'm telling you, I cannot wait for my wedding day! I'm so so so excited :)
So for my hair, i went simple because i didn't want something too much because i will be wearing a tiara, so i went with a little puff with a half up and half down style and straight (because curls wouldn't last lol). For my makeup, my makeup artist calls it the natural kim kardashian look that i love, so we went natural skin tones with a little shimmer and a little liner top and bottom with full lashes and a nude lipstick. (all MAC & FACES makeup) my first two pictures are of my hair (i had no makeup on yet) and from the third picture on is me with my hair and makeup done. My last picture is my full look with my tiara and viel! so what do you ladies think? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ God bless* xox |

I'm so excited ladies!!! my photographer's company (which he and his father and mother own) are so fantastic! as a "thank you" to all their customers, every month or every other month sometimes, they offer FREE sessions or frams or albums and you can also win FREE things too!
So on Friday, I received an emai from them as this months "news letter" and in it was a bunch of free things you can get, and 60% off pictures and what not... but what caught my attention was: THE FIRST 25 BRIDES OF 2012 WHO WANT A FREE TRASH THE DRESS SESSION, EMAIL US NOW! and guess what.... I WON IT!!! AAAAAHHHH!!!! I have never won anything in my life! I am so excited for this! I wanted to do one so bad but it was totaly out of our budget!! So this sure is a blessing from God! Our photographer emailed me back confirming our shoot with be some time after the wedding :) wooohooo!!! ps. i had my hair and makeup trial yesterday.. i`ll post pictures soon :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ God bless* xox |
