okay, so i totally found this post on an older brides page

farting/passing gas:

do you fart in front of him!? does he fart in front of you!?
fhubby & i have known eachother since a very young age so when this first happened it was no biggie lol. we let anything pass (literally) lol.

We have no shame--we both fart infront of each other all the time. Same goes for going to the bathroom. If someone is going, we usually sit on the edge of the tub, or counter, and talk. :P

LOL!!! this is pretty funny.. I do NOT do it in front of him, nor will I go to the bathroom in front of him. it's not that I'm not completely comfortable I guess I was just raised to be really 'proper'. I have this thing about wanting to still seem 'sexy' to him and there's just certain lines of comfortable I just won't cross. Everyone is different though! That just happens to be how I am about it..

OMG mrshtobe, that is the funniest thing ever! we so do that too! not if i'm going number 2 or him either. those are a big no no for me lol. but totally get the sitting on the edge of the tub or counter and talk while we wait for the other to be done peeing! hahahaaa!

laurie, your so cute! lol i totally get what your saying. something are just not ok lol but that doesn't mean your not comfertable around one another! when my mom witnessed this once, she totally gave me the "that is not lady like" speech lol

@hismrsb: He's seen me give birth, so nothing is sacred, anymore! LOL! We've been together 10 1/2 years, so that might be a factor, too, though.

LMBO off at this post. My FH has no problem letting it out in front of me. He has these silent farts, and I'm like the WTH is that smell and he just think it's so funny. I don't just let my farts out in front of him, I try to move away from him if I can. He tells me that I fart in my sleep sometimes though lol (so I guess that's really in front of him).

Growing up I was always told to go in the bathroom so I totally understand the being proper part (laurie).
FH doesn't do it too much either, occassionally I'll have to say, "REALLLLYY!!! Did you just do that?????" and he'll laugh but other then that we're a fart-free kind of couple. LMAO, omg even saying that is too much

My FH will not at all Fart in front of me. Now me Im the belcher, louud and all the time. Now I will not fart in front of him though.. But he has said that I fart when Im sleeping too. and it has woken me up...lol

I will not fart infront of him I just think its gross. I know everybody does it but I just feel it should be done in private. He has farted infront of me probably 3 times in 6 years. I just give him the look if he does it and laugh.

lol it's understandable. to each its own. a lot of people are okay with it and some just aren't. its all good! thanks for sharing =)
