Bombonieres; Bomboniere (Italian) also known as "favors", are gifts given out on special occasions, such as a wedding, to the guests. This is traditional for Europeans (mainly used in Italian & Portuguese culture). However, the term "favors" are used as a smaller gift set to each guest at their table. A Bomboniere is a bigger gift of appreciation.
so we may have gone a little bit over the top on your usual bombonieres, but lets face it, us Portuguese like it that way -especially if it's at a wedding!!!
i've been looking around and found this beautiful D'Lusso Italian collection (and Italians know there collections) and for the price i couldn't pass it up! i'm so excited and relieved that i have our biggest order paid for & completed! now i have to be patient and wait for them to come in... since it's a BIG order, it will probably be in next month or later!
2 Cup 2 Saucer PVC Box Modern; (my mom made me order an extra one just for her -on top of the extra one's i orderd lol)
now all that is left to order is my cake stand and the boys license plates and we're good =) YAY!!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ God bless* xox
its a european thing... lol maybe i should explain... it's a little bigger then favors. to use, favors are just little things to be put on the tables for guests, and the bombonieres are the bigger gift that goes to every family as a "thank you".
i'll put the explaination on the post lol
i'm so excited!!!
