Wedding Ceremony

last week, i met with our choir director who will be playing piano and singing at our ceremony and man is she good! prior to her meeting, i had to have our reads and songs picked out. here are our readings for the ceremony. i will post the songs off of youtube later. feel free to use any of the below (and in part two) for your ceremony. it can be tricky when it comes to picking the readings =) First Reading: Gen 2 18 – 24 774 – 2 this will be read by; A reading from the book of Genesis (Gen 2 18 – 24 774 – 2) Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helpmate” So out of the ground the Lord God formed every animal of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. The man gave names to all cattle, and to the birds of the air, and to every animal of the field; But no helpmate was found suitable for man was found for him. So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then he took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one shall be called Woman, for out of man this one was taken.” Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his wife, and they become one flesh. Wedding Rings And Jewelry

last month, fhubby and i were at the mall and decided to stop at Ben Moss our jewelry store (where he also got my engagement ring) and we looked at wedding bands. fhubby saw the ring he wanted and he wanted to get it now. it’s a traditional white gold wedding band and that's what he always told me he wanted. it was perfect for him, not to mention made me want to cry when i put it on his finger at the store. so i made sure to buy it for him but with his 1000000000% approval and it was a go. he then wanted me to look for mine, which i already had picked out and envisioned in my head. so i told the associate what i wanted and he took my engagement ring and then brought out 5 matching ones to go with it. i thought hmmm, i don't like to many choices but it was clear that there was only two of them that stood out to me. i thought, this is going to be easy, and normally when i think like this, it turns out to be hard, but it actually was easy. i tried on the two and it was clear that the first one i laid eyes on, was the one. so with my 10000000000000% approval, fhubby bought me my wedding band too. they are both resting in our safe for the next 9 months. it’s a perfect fit on both of us and i can't wait to have it forever on my finger. God willing. Aaaah, i love being in love <3 God bless. xox |

happy friday dolls!!! so i'm in love with the idea of having a bride robe on before stepping into my dress and have it on while i get my makeup done (which will be at home not at a salon). two questions; does anyone know where i can find this for cheap? and also, should i get some for my girls as well?
