So my BMs finally picked their shoes!! I chose several different pairs and asked them each to rank the shoes on which ones they liked the best. 4 out of 5 girls picked the same shoe as their favorite...so that was the winner! The fuchsia shoes are going to look so great with their black dresses and fuchsia and orange bouquets!

Ordered BM Dresses!
We finally ordered the BM dresses and I'm absolutely obsessed with them :-) They look GORGEOUS on all my girls. I love the contemporary look of the one shoulder. We ordered them in black and the girls will be wearing fuschia shoes! They will look awesome!!

I actually bought my shoes quite awhile ago but forgot to post them :-) I bought them even before I had a dress because I love them so much!! Every one of my friends that has seen them think they are just perfect for my personality. I am obsessed with the color pink and can't wait to wear them!!

So I know that I've been away for a while...but wedding planning and full-time work has unfortunately taken up most of my time!

I've gotten a lot done over the past few months! One of my next projects is a card box! I've bought 3 hat boxes and am planning on making one like the pictures attached :-) Let's keep our fingers crossed that it turns out looking good!!

Ok ok, I know that I haven't been on here in about 5 months :*( Life has been so extremely busy with work, wedding planning and house hunting that I barely have enough time to get any wedding related stuff accomplished!

Sooo....I was thinking about doing little tissue packets for the ceremony. I found the pictures to the left online as inspiration. I wanted to put our monogram and a little poem on the front and use vellum or glassine envelopes. Does anyone know a cheap place to find these envelopes? I'll probably need about 100-125 of them since I don't think every person will be taking one.

Ok, so I've designed a few monograms and am trying to decide which one I like the best!

I know the bride's name/initial is supposed to come first...so I may be changing the ordering around.

We still haven't chosen a date yet, but I put in the date that we'd like to have.

Yay! I finally hired a wedding coordinator! I'm working with Vaneisha Brown and Your Happily Ever After Event Planning! Although I've been engaged for about 6 months, my work and busy schedule has kept me from doing nearly any wedding planning. But I'm ready to jump right into things and get this ball rolling! I'm super excited to work with Vaneisha & I think she's going to be a great fit :-)

Has anyone here bought their dress from the Hollywood Dreams designer? I absolutely LOVE some of their dresses but would like to see pics of them being worn by actual brides. I am considering going with the light pink color (if you know me, then you know my obsession with pink) but don't know if I should stick with the traditional white. The problem with this designer is that they are UK based, and so far I've only been able to find one store in the US that sells them. Any advice??

Ok, so I'm thinking about going with black bridesmaid dresses. I originally thought it was somewhat "dark" for a wedding, but the more I look at pics...the more I like it. We're having a night formal wedding, but I'd like to include bright colors like fuschia and orange to express my fiance and I's "spunk". I think incorporating those colors into the bouquets would look great against black dresses. What do you think?
