-How long did you date before you got engaged?
3 1/2 years

-Did you get the ring you wanted?
yes! i picked it out! a 1/2 ct. diamond solitaire

-Was the proposal a complete surprise?
Somewhat but not really. I knew he had the ring, just didn't know where he hid it! haha

-Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small?
no way! i absolutely love my ring!

-Did you cry when he proposed?
no not really. i knew it was coming :)

-Was the proposal romantic or creative?
neither haha. he just kinda got the ring out and gave it to me at home.

-Where do you want to go for your honeymoon?
I want to go to disney world but fh doesnt :(

-Are you buying his wedding band for him?
ya. he still is looking for one he wants!

-Have you gone over your original wedding budget?
we don't really have a set budget, just saving as much money as we can so far it's a success!

-What day of the year will your wedding be?
Saturday, May 19

-What kind of weather?
Hopefully sunny, maybe with a breeze (fingers crossed)

-Inside or outside?
inside :). outside is too unpredictable for me

-Church/justice of the peace/other?
at the church where both of our parents were married :)

-How many people will be there?
maybe around 400?

-Time of day?
3:00pm.

-Any kind of theme?
not really. just black and light pink

-How many bridesmaids? Who would they be?
2 maids of honors (sisters), 5 bridesmaids (cousins and friends), and a junior bridesmaid (my niece)

-What kind of cake/what will it look like?
the brides cake will be a traditional white cake with some draping and flowers on it. the grooms cake will either be the oakland raiders or fishing :)

-Where will you have the reception?
at the knights of columbus hall

-What kind of dress will you have/color/material?
its a ballgown with pick ups on the skirt made of satin and lots of beading :)

-What kind of flowers in your bouquet?
pink roses.

-Kind of engagement ring?
its a diamond solitaire :)

-Kind of wedding bands?
mine has diamonds halfway around it, and his will probably be a black band

-How will you wear your hair?
probably half up and half down curled

-Who will be important to be there?
everyone or else i wouldn't be inviting them :)

-Will the reception be big or small?
big! by my standards at least

-What will the groom wear?
a tux, with a white shirt and still unsure on the color of the vest

-How long on Honeymoon?
hopefully a week. haven't gotten that far yet :)

-What will you do?
relax and go on some new kind of adventures

-Will it be modest or costly?
Fairly modest, not sure,

-How old will you and the groom be?
i will be 21 and he will be 23 :)

-Live together before or wait till married?
we already live together.

-Take a long time to plan the wedding or will it be simple?
we're planning it in like 6 months :)

-Will you do it yourself or with family or hire someone to plan the wedding?
im basically planning it with some helpful hints from family

-Will you write your own vows or use something pre-made?
probably whatever the church provides

Ok so I live in Texas, and I am having a May 2012 wedding. My colors are pink and black, and we want to do vases with feathers in them for centerpieces. The thing is that we're on a really tight budget, and feathers are expensive for the most part! Anyone know where we can get feathers in bulk for really inexpensive? Please help!!!
