Hey everyone!! Just wanted to let everyone know that I am going home for the summer this afternooon....i'm in college. Andddd at home we have dial up internet..therefore I am never online. lol. I will be on hopefully at lease once a week when I am over at my fiance house :D TAKE CARE EVERYONE!!!! Happy Planning!! I just love you all!!

I want everyone in the wedding party to wear flip flops. Its just something special that the groom and I share :) We both wear our flip flops anywhere at anytime. And I think its sexy!! haha...anyways...I need some help deciding on the rest of their attire...I don't want it to look silly with a formal black tux....what do you ladies think? Any suggestions?!?

I think i'm going to go with the tux and nicer looking black flip flops, like the picture. It really does look good :D

I want a very dreamy look, like this one! I found this on another Bride's blog and fell in love!! However instead of a purpley tone I want it to have pink and green!! :D

I found the perfect place for my reception! ..possibly even the wedding; not sure. It is called the Camden Snow Bowl...It is a ski area. They have a gorgeous lodge that holds 100 people seated with room for dancing and additional 60 people on the deck!! ITS PERFECT FOR US!!!!! Anddddd its budget friendly! yay!! I'm going to take Robbie to look at it this summer when I'm done with school and if he likes it I'M BOOKING IT!! i know its early...but then I won't have to worry about it not being available!

I have had a problem with acne ever since I was a freshman in high school. I was wondering if any of you have had the same problem and might know of a product that would really work for me?? I would really appreciate it!! What bride wants to worry about acnene on her big day when EVERYONE is looking at you and cameras are going off all over the place??!!?

As of right now this is what I like for the attire. :) Although I have a ways to go so this is all preliminary planning, I'll probably change my mind a hundred times. Put the colors are here to stay!!!!
My MOH will wear the same dress but she will have a pink ribbon and a different bouquet.
My mom is very comtemporary and cute so she'll have a fun dress.
Robbie's mom is conservative so she'll have something that is the same color-ish as my mom but more conservative.
Still undecided on the tuxes...green tie for sure, probably pink flowers, but i don't know what to do about the vest?? Green, cream, or black?? Help me out ladies!
I am also throwing around the idea of doing things a little more casual since it will be outside and very hot. ...hm decisions decisions..i guess it is a good thing we have a long engagement, seeings how indecisive I have turned out to be!!


P.S. I haven't choosen a dress...I only put that one there to fill it in! Not really what I'm going for anymore..

Has anyone else been having problems? Do you know why?

Robbie is in the Army National Guard and so was a friend of mine, so we met one night in the town that the base is at...I was there with another friend working on prom stuff and he was on guard duty that weekend..so we ended up bumping into him and my friend at the mall.
The funny thing is we met in Bangor..which is two hours from where I live...and then we found out that he lives five minutes down the road from me and has his whole life!! My parents almost even bought a piece of land next door to him! He was homeschooled and that's why we had never met before. haha.
One thing lead to another and within the month we were inseperable and now we've been together for 2years. Mostly long distance since I'm in college and he was away for 9 months for military training...

I was wondering...

My fiance is a Christian..and I'm not..but that's a whole other discussion entirely...anyways...I wanted to know if a sand ceremony is okay to do in a Christian wedding ceremony? Do any of you know?
I'd really appreciate the input :) You girls are all wonderful!!

I have been kicking around the idea of having fish for centerpieces!! And then at the end of the reception doing some fun game to see who gets to take them home :) Robert's a little worried that no one will want them...

Robert agreed to pink and green!!!!!!!!!!!! I was on the phone with him last night (I'm still in school, so its sort of a long distance engagement...), and I asked about them and he said "actually I do really like those colors together." YAY!!!!!!!!

I always wanted a pink and green wedding....but robert really doesn't think it will look good. So I thought maybe a lilac and sage wedding...If any of you have pictures of a pink and green wedding that would help me convince the fiance that it really will look good i'd appreciate it!!

I found it on David's Bridal...it is made of Organza and it has really cute little details at the top and bottom!! SO PERFECT. Hopefully they still have it when it comes time to get them!

I'm pretty sure this is where I want to have the wedding..but its still a ways away soo I might change my mind if I find something better ;)

I'm probably not having the wedding here...too expensive. I want to do the reception at the Camden Snow Bowl...so I might do both there instead.

My colors are light green and pink...I want to use pink and green hydrangeas :)

My best friend of since kindergarden and my cousin have been together for five years now...AND HE FINALLY PROPOSED ON FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! I am so excited...so now I get to help plan her wedding and be the maid of honor this summer!!!!!!! and then she will be my matron of honor in my wedding..which is unfortunately not for a couple of years...i have to graduate from college first...BUT I'M SOOO EXCITED TO HELP KASEY!! I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!!!

Sooooo...it was christmas eve day and Robert was too excited to give me my christmas present so he made me open it then...I got a little worried when I opened it and it was a can...you know like a pop top campbell's soup can? However, on the outside was a lable with our names and a picture of us on it...I didn't know what I was supposed to do with the can...So finally I opened it. It was filled with rose petals and the ring box :)
