Wedding Dress
Shoes!!!
I originally thought I wanted sparkly rhinestoned shoes but the wedding budget just wasn't enough to buy them pre-done. So I thought I'd do it myself. But first I needed to find shoes. After looking in all the usual places, I decided to browse ebay and there amongst the millions of shoes, I fell in love all over again. No rhinestones needed :) Even though there's over a year to go I bought them. Can't wait to have them arrive :)

Wedding Reception
Found our venue!
A few weeks ago, Ryan and I spent a very long day driving around looking at venues. After looking at over a dozen and listening to a potential caterer drone on and on, we (meaning I) decided to take a 45 minute detour on our way home to visit Temecula. Part of me just wanted a taste of home, part of me hoped I could convince Ryan to do a winery wedding. He's not a huge fan of wine. After driving around for 30 extra minutes (GPS sent us to their vineyard not the winery) we arrived. From the moment the car pulled into the parking lot, I think we both knew this was it. We spent 45 minutes talking to the coordinator and looking at almost every part of the winery. We fell in love with the barrel room and have decided to have our reception there and our ceremony and cocktail hour out by the vineyard. So exciting! I'll post pictures when I get them off my camera. We put down our deposit and my poor mom who lives in Northern California hasn't even seen the place. Woops, hopes everyone loves it. Ryan called in backyard wedding without the backyard. I'm thinking this is a good thing since we wanted a small drama free wedding without putting pressure on any family member to host it
