So, I went on a hunt to find a sash to compliment the dress. I went to several local bridal stores, including David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo. The sashes there were not cute or too expensive!!! Then, I turned to my favorite internet shop ETSY!!!! That's where I found this beauty in the Little White Dresser’s Etsy shop-- the 440 Crystals Sash!

My sash arrived wrapped in a pretty fragranced sachet, and it was attached to a very long, white ribbon. My dress actually came with a plain diamond white sash. So, I got a seamstress to sew the belt onto my diamond white sash. And Voila!!!!

I am soo glad I bought the sash. It definitely made my dress! It was also an inexpensive way to accessorize. We were under a sever thunderstorm watch. Lucky for me, it only rained during the morning, and it was bright and sunny the rest of the day. Unfortunately, the storm hit very hard in a nearby town called Yazoo City and did a lot of damage. Ten people died. Please pray for those families. In the midst of the morning storm, the power went out twice at the church before the wedding started. Everyone was very nervous and scared that the wedding couldn't take place. But the power came back on an hour before the wedding and everythign was fine. The highlight of my morning was exchanging gifts with Mr. Honeybee. He gave me my "something blue."

The ceremony went by soo fast!!!! It was only about 20-30 minutes long. I really don't remember anything that happened after those double doors opened! Everyone said that it was simple and beautiful, and they were glad that is was short and sweet. ;-) We took all of the pictures before the ceremony. So, we made it to the reception very quickly. Needless to say, the guests were pleased about that too. When we arrived, the POWER WAS OFF for the 3rd time that day. I didn't sweat it. They got it back up and running 30 minutes later, and the rest of the night went on as planned. I printed them at home on my lovely printer (HP Photosmart). It was pretty simple, and they came out great. I printed 7 boxes (30 invites each) of invites, rsvp card, accommodation card, and directions (on the back of the accommodation card). I only used one set of full ink cartridges. Sorry, but I took out some personal information. Don't need any weirdos showing up to my wedding! The pics also look a little crappy. Trust me, they look better in person! Someone thought they were professionally made. HA! But here is the wording that I used: Invitation Mr. & Mrs. Bride's Parents request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter Bride Honeybee to Future Husband son of Mr. & Mrs. Groom's Parents on Saturday, the twenty-fourth of April two thousand and ten at four o'clock in the afternoon Small Baptist Church My Town, USA Cocktail reception to follow at the Grand Hall Reception Place rsvp The favor of your reply is requested by April third M_________________ __ accepts with pleasure __ declines with regrets number of guests __ ENVELOPES This invite required 61¢ postage. So, I ordered the wedding cake stamps fromt the post office. They are soo cute! I also incorporated the black damask wrap around labels on my envelopes. This was a daunting task: * saved each label (one by one) in a pdf file * printed @ Kinkos on full sheet labels (4 per sheet) @ 50¢ per page * used a wooden board & FH's utility knife (had to improvise) & cut out the labels * Wrapping was tricky. But once I figured out the best method, it was a piece of cake!
