Wedding Dress - It's here! - HONEYBEE's Purple Wedding by Color Blog

I received my dress yesterday. I was very excited to try it on. It still looks exactly how I remember, but I felt very blah in it. It definitely needs some extra touches so it will not look so plain. My mother wants to get a sash with beading or appliqué to add a little something to it. I went to my mother's house to try it on, and she doesnt have a full length mirror. So, I could not get the full effect. I am going to try it on periodically when the FH is away since we have a full length mirror at home. I hope I fall in love with it again. There is no way I am looking for another dress!

Side note: My FH attempted to do the 30 day shred with me. At first, I was embarrassed about working out with him, because I did not want him to make fun of me for not being able to do some of the exercises. Much to my surprise, I kept up with the DVD very well. He, however, was on the floor, drenched with sweat, and he could not finish the last 5 minutes! It was pretty funny!

Your dress is so pretty! I think with a few small touches you can make it exactly what you want.

and the exact same thing happened with me and my fiancee and the 30 day shred! he wanted to do the harder level and even tho i kept up he gave up halfway through and just laid on the floor watching me!

I think it's beautiful! I went dress shopping this weekend, and was AMAZED at what a difference a sash with embellishments/ a broach could make. You'll "fall in love" with your dress again. :) Especially when you add your hair/make-up/accessories/veil! :)

Its beautiful! But I def. think adding like a brooch or sash/belt would make it glamorous!

Make sure you check out etsy.com They have a ton of stuff on there that would look perfect with your dress! Try typing in the search, bridal sash, bridal belt or maybe bridal brooch.

You look amazing in this dress. What about adding a FAB Bib style rhinestone necklace and a rockin bangle bracelet? That will look even more amazing!! Some examples (cheap finds off etsy!)

Good job on the workouts! I was embarassed to run with Mark - he runs every day for more than 5k and I am just a beginner. Sometimes you surprise yourself though, I didn't kick his butt like you did lol, but I kept up and he was so proud! It actually felt awesome.

Second, thanks for the advice. I love those two stores also. I could spend hours just in the stores! I was thinking about registering at both of them and then a department store. My main thing is I don't know what all I want or even need. I'm very much a buy it now person :)

What you need are some great gloves to rock that dress out with girl! I love your dress...I hope you fall in love with it again. Try it on with all of your accessories...and do your hair the way you're going to for the wedding. It makes a HUGE difference trust me! Put a flower in your hair and add some gloves and you'll be smiling again girl. Good luck!
