Wedding Rings And Jewelry
I got my custom wedding band!!!
FH and I went to pick up my wedding band today!! Here are a few photos, it needs to be sized but I am going to bring it in when I pick up FHs band which we ordered today. Our jeweler will size it in a few hours for us :)
On our 1 year I will be getting another band with pink sapphires and diamonds for the other side...can't wait :) Only 66 days until I get to wear it EVERYDAY!!!! |

I went to Chapters yesterday with my bestie/BM Katie, and we got Starbucks and looked at all the bridal magazines. I was so shocked when I saw my dress in a beautiful "Real Wedding" held in Como Lake, Italy! My dress is famous haha

Hi ladies,
I posted this on my old blog and had tons of awesome feedback, so I figured I would post it for all the lovely new ladies on here that might like to try. I am probably making some in pink for our candy table, or putting some on each table for coffee. I also thought it would be cute to give some as favours with coffee beans or something :) Here are the instructions ladies, enjoy! Equipment: small bowls greaseproof paper (parchment/wax paper) small heart-shaped cookie cutter teaspoon granulated sugar food colours 1. Prepare bowl with sugar. Then add a tiny drop of food colour to the sugar, and a little water to make it damp. Mix until evenly coloured. 2. On a piece of greaseproof paper, push a small amount of sugar firmly into the heart cutter (see 1) and level the top with a spoon (see 2). Carefully lift off the cutter and let dry (see 3&4)** 3. Repeat until all the sugar us used up. ** note: make sure that you do not try and move the cubes until they are dry, about 1/2 hour p.s. don't you just love my damask cappuccino mugs! I also have coffee and espresso ones :) |

love my FILs!
I LOVE my wedding earrings and my FILs! Last weekend was my birthday and my FMIL, who lives an hour away, told me that she wanted to take me out for my birthday to buy my present. She came down on Friday and we went to my jeweler because she wanted to buy some earrings for the wedding. She told me that I could pick whatever earrings I wanted for the big day and she would pay for them as my birthday present! We both picked Swarovski crystal earrings, and my jeweler gave us the "Lucas Special," (my FH) and we were so thrilled!
What do you think? I am only wearing earrings and maybe a bracelet...no necklace for me, so I wanted the earrings to be WOW! xo |

table numbers updated!!
I decided to change the look of my table numbers completely. I wanted to tie in some black, because we are getting 4 black chandeliers in the tent, so I painted them all black for a more chic look. I think the black will look awesome with our slate pintuck linens. What do you ladies think? I might add some pink gems if I can find them too! xo

I have family in NY which I sent invites too a couple weeks ago with an earlier response date because we want to know whether they are coming or not so we can invite other people. I can't wait to get my first response in the mail!! |

So I will spend most of my day making cakes for other people's birthday's,, including a Louis Vuitton Bag, a Nike Shoe, Glass of Guinness, flower cupcakes, and a soccer ball!
When I am all done those cakes, I am going to dinner with the ladies and out! WOO....Can't wait till 9pm tonight ;) Also, want to wish all the ladies who are getting married today a great day! xo |

Wedding Dress
My dress is finally here!!!!
I got the call yesterday that my dress had finally arrived from Spain to the bridal boutique!! I went in this morning with my mom and sisters to try it on, and it fit PERFECTLY!!! I don't need to have any alterations done at all, just a bustle of the train.
I brought in my shoes and fascinator, and tried it on with my veil! I LOVE my veil, it has Swarovski crystals on it, I am so happy with it was in too! What do you ladies think?? xo |

Finally...it's official :)
We finally bought a lot and are building a house! FH and I have been living with my parents and sisters for over a year now saving money for our house...and it has been waaaaaaay too long haha
When we were in uni, Lucas had a place with roommates, so we had a place to get away too, but the last year and half has been crazy. We bought the lot from a builder, but we are building it ourselves and contracting it out. My family is in construction, so we have a lot of fabulous contacts!We are starting to build beginning of July, and hopefully it will be ready by November. I am SO EXCITED to finally have my own house, with my own things. I have never lived anywhere but with my family, so this is huge [Smile] 1st photo: our lot!! 2nd photo: the outside will similar to this 3rd photo: plan will be similar to this...our architect is working on it right now! |
