TO DAMASK OR NOT TO DAMASK!

I hv been seeing a lot of brides with the damask wedding. At first I was like I don't like it. Then the more I look at it, I like it! Do u think it would work with my old Hollywood Glam theme? The pink that I'm using isn't fuschia but the blush pink. What do ya think ladies, to damask or not to damask?

Black and white definitely goes with the Old Hollywood theme and damask would look nice with it...just don't go over board with it lol

Girl, you are all over the place. LOL!!!  You have to focus on one, because you had the Paris theme, Hollywood theme and damask.At least you have settled on Pink. (smiling)  

Yes, just a touch of damask. Not to much, remember that this is a powerful design and only a touch is necessary. Maybe like a runner in the center of the tables and that's it.

Oh yea, I hated this pattern too in the beginning. I thought it was depressing, dark, vampireish, goth looking, but after seeing it for a while as it was used with manyother colors, it's nice and can be used elegantly...As long as it's used lightly because it will over power your other color.

Lol @Rhonda. Ikr! I love the Hollywood glam! Can't I incorporate the damask? Maybe like a part of a centerpiece or table number or on the cake. Like u ladies said I don't want to much of it just enough. Please help! Glad I got time to get this together.

Damask grew on me also. So classy and elegant. I think the Hollywood glam theme is an awesome idea!

Oh yes, just a tab bit.  Not much.  That's a great idea with the table numbers and cake accented.

Iam doing damask ( see my page for ideas) it is being used as an accent and not the main color. our place cards, menu's, and table numbers are all going to have damask as an accent. just a peek to give it a little texture. I love your theme. Ours is Asian. A lot of brides use damask, but very few actually have a theme to go along with it. Our them is Asian/Native American. it works great because we are using a darker red ( think red apple red) comon colors but our theme is what makes it so unique at least to us. Wedding are our expression of who we are as individuals and as a couple. So do what your heart tells ya hun! :) Proud to be a DAMASK Bride.
