Can you count on members of your wedding party?!?

Hey Dolls!

Hope all is well, and wedding planning is stress less for all you beautiful brides and soon to be brides!

Question ladies ,"Can you count on your bridal party?' I had the issue with my ladies the first time. They were not cooperating and everybody had other things to do. I was very considerate of others when planning the first time. I sent out emails and text messages way in advance to let them know that I needed them.

I dont wanna have to go thru the same thing again. Although i wont have the same ladies in the bridal party except for my 2 sisters but i wanna make I dont have the same issues. Hopefully the ladies that i have in mind will turn out to be a better bunch!

I would love to have a bridal shower versus a bachlorette party. Dont get me wrong i love my sisters for what they did but they should know me and know that some foreign (and excuse my french ladies) dingaling all in my face! (lol) So hopefully i can get that this time...

Mine have gone back and forth, but there are two that I can ALWAYS count on, so I'm lucky there! Have you told them you want a bridal shower instead of a bachelorette? I hope they come through for you!!!!!

That's the good thing about renewals. Do it differently than the first time. i so understand about the drama of bridesmaids. You know me, I will just be there with me and hubby this time if we have to. LOL  I've had one MOH when we originally got married. To much drama and flakiness went on with bridesmaids and drama to why they are not my MOH, I cut EVERYONE!!!  Except my cousin that was the MOH. Someone I could trust and rely on and it was perfect! The last two ceremonies we had with renewals, she wasn't able to come because she moved so far away across the US. I wouldn't ask anyone else, but just her to this day. This round, she will be there as MOH. Last wedding we had my two daughters were my Jr. BM's. They were 10 and 9 at that time and they were better than the older wedding party, LOL  REALLY!!! If I have to babysit some grown folks, I'd  rather babysit my own!  LOL

I hope you get they party/shower you always wanted.

some of my girls i can count on but there is some girls that ive had a problem with off and on but its starting to get where i might be able to handle it lol and i would tell your girls that you dont want a bachelorette party just a bridal shower keeping my fingers crossed for you hopefully they come through for you :)

I started off with 12 girls. I had to re-evaluate each, and every SINGLE one of them o_O IKR.

So, I went from 12 ladies to 6. I know they mad but, its my wedding and its my way or the highway.

I am not including my Fhubby sister as bridesmaids but, I turn them into hostess.

I want to be able to have a smooth transition w/o the drama and foolishness.  They don't want me to turn into a bridezilla.

I hope they come through for you love =)
