Bridesmaid Dress for Sale
It has been a while since I've posted, but I've been fortunate enough to go from being a bride to a bridesmaid for my very own bridesmaid! :)
As I loved my dress, but don't foresee having another purpose for it in the near future, I'm putting it up for sale. It is Impression Bridal Style 20049 in marine. The dress was purchased in a Size 10, but was altered down to this brand's size 8. I can send my exact measurements, if this would help you out. Worn just once to wedding. Married!
...And Loving It!
So my hubby and I tied the knot a whole 16 days ago and it feels like yesterday!
We've since gone on our Hawaiian honeymoon and had the most wonderful time! I'm sharing a few photos of the big day with you that some of our guests took. I'll be sure to post the professional photos when I receive them. It has been SUCH a great experience, and they day was honestly more than I could have ever wished for! Thank you to ALL WBC-ers that commented on my posts and provided answers to questions along the way! There are so many of you that also helped inspire some of the ideas we used that day and I cannot thank you enough! Quick Updates!
Busy week!
Well it's 3 days away and things are REALLY coming together!
I've been indulging in an occasional spa appointment while juggling all the last-minute wedding details, and my bridesmaids threw me an AMAZING bachelorette Saturday past. The girls planned a wine tasting, and brought in an in-home caterer. What a night!!! There were a few cute games, and then we took a limo to a dance club. A great time was had by all. I can't believe the planning that went into the event, and I can't stop thanking them! Hopefully I'll have time for a posting or two before Saturday! ;) See you all soon! |

Groom's Attire
Not quite as perfect as the dress!
My FH went to check out his suit for the wedding yesterday. It had been custom ordered for him after he picked out the fabric a few months ago. When he arrived to have a look, the store owner immediately told him there was a problem.
Apparently the company that made the suit used the wrong fabric!! FH tells me he really likes it, but the fact remains that it wasn't what was ordered, and obviously the other fabric was preferred. I won't get to see the suit until at least Saturday as I'm working the hours the store is open for the rest of this week. The company has thrown in a fee tie and knocked down the price of the suit a bit, but I'm still nervous! Fortunately FH tells me the fit is perfect, so this is good. I just hope I like the alternate fabric! |

Wedding Dress
It has been Picked-Up.... And it's Perfect!!!
I went off to pick-up my wedding dress this past weekend.
I had asked for a number of changes to the original dress, and I'm absolutely thrilled with how they all turned out! Honestly I couldn't have designed a more perfect dress for myself! I cannot wait to share it with you guys! Just 12 more days!!! |

Wedding Reception
Bridal Party Entrance Songs?
Hey fellow WBC-ers!!
I'm looking for a bit of your help today. We're 3 weeks from the wedding, and I'm having a lot of trouble finding a song (or songs) for the bridal party/us as a newlywed couple to enter to at the reception. I have masquerade masks for all my bridesmaids and myself, and I was really hoping to find a song that would reflect the "masquerade" type theme, or something similar. Absolutely any suggestions would be so very appreciated!!! I can't wait to hear what you ladies may have in mind! Thanks for helping out!!! xoxo |

Signs & Bridesmaids Gift Bags
As a follow-up to yesterday's post, here are two of the projects I've been working on, with help from the FH!
The photos I have posted show the bathroom baskets with sign, the photo guestbook with sign, a thank-you sign for the gift table, and the gift bags I made for my bridesmaids' goodies and gifts! The gift bags will have matching tissue paper to the ribbon, and of course ribbon in the color of their dresses to tie the top shut. |
