Bridesmaids - Flip Flop Favors! - ICEANGEL2011's Blue Wedding by Color Blog

I've been lucky enough to get a Sunday to take on a DIY project that I've been hoping to do for my bridesmaids! I've been doing some personalized flip-flops. I managed to find the colors to match their dresses in a couple of different stores this week, and today I went and got the ribbon, rhinestones, feathers and flowers for the decoration. Now they don't have to worry about uncomfortable shoes for the dance, and I have something made with love to give them as part of their thank-you.

I'm really pleased with the way they've turned out! :) I have to stop for the evening and I'm exactly half way through... I've run out of glue, so I have to restock and finish, hopefully tomorrow.

I'll post the last 2.5 pairs when they're complete! teehee!

This is such a cute thoughtful gift! I didn't even think to DIY them for my girls and ended up just buying them flip flops with their names on them. I thought they would be cute to wear by the pool or on the beach for our bachelorette weekend =) I'm doing a flip flop basket during the Reception too!

Wow, I absolutely love them. I have been searching for ideas for shoes, my wedding is in October so the weather wil still be nice enough for flip flops. Some of my girls were concerned about earing flip flops with pantyhose so I was considering flats, but I loooove these so much.

These are so adorable!! I am doing the same thing for my BM'S because I am getting married on the beach and don't want them to have the trouble of their heels sinking lol... I am just doing teh ribbon and the rhinestones but your feather and flower addition is super cute!!! GREAT JOB!
