Moving Right Along!

While I don't have any big picture updates to give you, I can tell you what I've been up to, and what to look forward to in my posts over the next week or so! :)

This week we did some of the "busy work" that was required for the wedding.

We met with the venue and finalized the wedding menu, table layout in the building, as well as the ceremony set-up. Everything is turning out wonderfully!

We also met with our photographer and chose places to have photos done, in case of rain locations, and chatted about all the smaller details we wanted to include in our photos. She's absolutely fabulous, and we had a great time hanging out with her! :)

Today we're meeting with the rehearsal party venue to sort out what we'll be serving there that evening. Then it's just the DJ and gift opening venues left to meet with!

I also booked a second hair trial (with hair accessories), nail appointments and a couple of pre-wedding spa treatments so that I can relax and feel my best for the big day!

Today's plans include doing up some gift bags for my wonderful bridesmaids to put their "thank you goodies" in, and doing up a basket of goods for the washrooms.

I've also just bought a box for the reception for our guests to put donations in. This is what we have chosen for kisses - donations to two animal rescue organizations that we are closely affiliated with (Heavenly Creatures and Boston Terrier Rescue Canada). The plan is to cover the box in our wedding colors, and to have each organization's logo on the front of the box.

As you can see from this post's display, our programs are done and have been shipped. I wanted to send another special thanks to JaxDesigns on Etsy for such fabulous work. She's truly amazing, and does tons of great products for weddings, fellow brides!!!

Finally, my FH and I are currently working on signs for the photo guest book, washroom, and gift table.
