MONOGRAM LOGO
Our very own BATMAN SYMBOL!

Thanks to a very good graphic artist we have our monogram now! Had it for a while, but have not posted what it looks like yet as it was in the process of getting revised. This is what we wanted and fits our whole wedding scheme. Going for timeless elegance, baroque looking, romantic, and soft lines. A graceful monogram that exudes stability. Something that translates and prints well on paper.

*first, don't take offense... just trying to help*

I really like the shield and the flourishes on the ends of the letters but I'm not so sure of the font used. It looks a little out of place with the two things I mentioned above. I'm not saying you have to use a cursive type of font, but with the curves and flow of the detail on the shield, the harsh angles and abrupt stop of the letters don't quite mesh. Maybe if you used a serif font it might fit better and it's just as printable. Again, just my opinion .

I love the concept, but I agree with kellyjaxn about the font used. It's a little hard to make out what the letters are. I think a serif font would work really well (a serif font, is a font that has the little lines coming out from the tips of the M...whereas the other M is just plain solid lines). Hope that helps, but I really love the concept of it it's very cool!

Kelly and amcs:  Thank you for the input! I am not offended.  :)
The letters are the part that are going through some work.  Will check out Serif Font.

Monograms when to use:
It’s actually considered premature to use your couples monogram before you’re married.

So, the reception’s clearly a green light, but you might want to skip using monograms on your invites.

As for the ceremony, that's sort of a Ms. Manners gray area. Some brides uphold the spirit but not the letter by putting their monogram in a subtle spot, like a garter or inside the dress.

Of course, the final decision is really up to you. Many couples opt to create a second monogram using just their first names for items such as save the dates, invitations, & wedding programs,
