I just wanted to wish all of the beautiful brides here on WBC a very very Happy Holidays!!! Whichever holiday it is that you celebrate, I hope it is filled with lots of laughter, love, and good memories while you spend time with your family and friends!!! So Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanzaa to all of the wonderful brides out there (and if there are any other holidays going on this time of year that I don't know about, then I hope you have a very Merry or Happy whatever holiday it is that you celebrate lol)!!! I hope you all also have a very very Happy New Year too!! ;-)
I'm sending out my holiday wishes pretty early, but that's because this will be my last post for the next 2 weeks or so...don't be sad...I'll be back before you know it lol!! I'm soo excited because my mom gets here tomorrow evening cause she's flying from Virginia (which is where I'm from) down to Alabama (which is where my fiance's from and where we live now) to spend Christmas with us!! So I won't be on WBC for the next 2 weeks because I haven't seen my mom since August...so obviously while she's here we'll be getting as many mother/daughter wedding related things taken care of as we can, and not to mention everything related to Christmas and New Years too!!
Next Monday we have our first appointment/cake tasting with the bakery!! And then the Saturday right after Christmas I'm finally gonna be going to try on some wedding dresses YAY!!! I've been waiting forever to do this, but this is definitely one of those things that I would've never dreamed of doing without my mom there with me!! 2 of my BMs will be coming along to try on some dresses as well, but my other 2 BMs (one being my MOH) both still live in Virginia, so unfortunately I'll just have to send them pics of the styles that we all try on to see what they like the best!! Then some other things I want to get done are going to our venue to measure the tables for the table linens, and then going to a few wedding rental companies in the area to check on their prices and availability of stuff!! Not to mention hopefully doing some after Christmas wedding shopping lol...maybe we'll be able to find some things on sale (maybe even my dress??!!)...you never know!!! So ladies I'll miss all of you over the next 2 weeks, but I'll be extremely busy with Christmas and all of the wedding related things my mom and I plan on doing together...YAY it's all just soo exciting!! Anyways, Happy Holidays to everyone and I'll see you in 2009!!! (YAY....the year that I'm finally going to be marrying the man of my dreams....and I'm sure it's the year for most of your weddings too!!!) ;-)
