Las Vegas-Downtown-The Freemont Street Experience

We had to go downtown to get our Marriage License the first night we got to Las Vegas anyways so we figured we'd check out the Freemont Street Experience while we were down there. I'm so glad we did-Downtown Las Vegas was so much fun...there is so much to do down there and everything is quite a bit cheaper too....two of my relatives each won $200 and $250 on the slots in Downtown Las Vegas too...so I guess maybe the slots are looser too? (maybe?) Anyways we all had a lot of fun and the Freemont Street Light Shows are really something to see!

We saw a Memorial Day one (since it was Memorial Day) and we also saw The Don Mclean-American Pie one they were both really cool! We also checked out the swimming pool at the Golden Nugget Casino and Hotel (I am a big shark lover) and in their swimming pool they have a slide that goes through a shark tank..how cool is that?! No you can't ACTUALLY swim with the sharks...it's more or less a big tube that goes through an aquarium, but I still loved it =D

You were having the time of your life I can see!  Great, that is what is suposed to be.  How many guest did you get?  Was this wedding and honeymoon?  Las Vegas is one of those places were you just have to go back.

We had 23 people go to Vegas with Jake and I from Northern Michigan so there were 25 of us there total for the whole wedding week...it was great!!!

We got engaged in Las Vegas in May 2007 and we told everyone that we were going to get married at the Top of the Stratosphere in Vegas so if they wanted to go to start saving...so they did...we had a big Reception two weeks after we got back on June 13th here in Michigan (I have to upload pictures from that still =)

Our wedding wasn't our honeymoon, but we did have an awesome Go Room at the Flamingo (check out that post-tv in the bathroom MIRROR!) We are planning on going on a Caribbean Cruise early next year =D

We absolutely want to go back to Vegas someday though-maybe our 5 year anniversary or something =)
